Blah blah blah balah.  The Celtics aren't winning this year.  Period.  The best teams in the EC are Orlando and Altanta.  Boston and Cleveland are nowhere.  Neither team will make it out of the 2nd round.
Because a team can't play a bad game in November and still win right?

If you want to wait until April to pronounce this team dead as a contender, be my guest.  I have a spare pair of green colored glasses I'd be happy to lend you.

I'm not waiting. I've seen enough.

What exactly have you seen? Seriously Brick what the heck makes you think this team is "done"?

Big Baby will be a big help, he can really help when the second unit is missing on the three's.

I agree.  Even if you don't like Baby, you can't deny that the kid hustles his butt off.  I think he'll bring some energy to the team.

The Celtics are a...HORRIBLE...9-4.
oh yeah, we're doomed.
signs of the appocolypse.
TRADE FOR CP3, SACRIFICE RAY TO THE BASKETBALL GODS, MAYBE WE'LL WIN A GAME OR TWO. -.-

This coming from a team that just needs to find its groove.
What are the spurs 4-6?
And how are they handling...hm, the general consensus is that they'll come around.
Hush, all will be well when the sun rises.
Practice? Whatchu talkin about practice?

I did not see the game..what is up with Rondo? From the threads here it appeared that he did not play well? And what is up with Sheed? Is his shot flat?

At least Dwight didn't go off.

Rondo wasn't playing well on offense, and Eddie can guard Jason Williams well enough. So Doc kept Eddie in as we made our run in the fourth.

We couldn't hit anything from deep, and shot very poorly overall. Didn't matter how wide open we were....

This thread is not simply an "over reaction" thread, as many people are putting it. The simple fact is that the Celtics have sucked lately. You can rationalize that any way you'd like, but facts are facts. Wallace has sucked, and Rondo has sucked. Plus, the Big Three are all one year older and slower than ever.

Everone needs to stop over reacting and be sensible...  It's been 13 games... YEAH THE TEAM LOOKS COMPLETELY AWFUL RIGHT NOW... but what about the first 6 games... by the way did I tell you it's been only 13 games... Quite frankly I don't remember when they started giving out the Larry O'Brien trophy in November.

And what is up with Sheed? Is his shot flat?

Sheed is killing us for the last few games...have you figured out how would it be if Baby was playing instead of him... I'm not saying that Big Baby would score 20 ppg, I'm just saying he wouldn't take so many shots...

all those Sheed's missed 3's are absolute momentum killers...

Yeah, but he also had created several turnovers by poking the ball away and he hit the boards hard tonight.

I'm not mad at Sheed for missing shots, that happens from time to time.

This is how I feel. The way this team has been playing, we live and die by the three. That being said, we either, change the game plan, or start making them.

Rasheed and Eddie are struggling mightily, and our second unit is wayyyy out of sync.

The team however does have room to go up, KG is going to get increasingly healthy and active on the defensive and offensive end.

I also think Ray-ray is M.I.A. I don't think he's done, but we aren't using him correctly. And this is my point of view on whether we should trade Ray Allen.

In the last two playoffs, Ray has had two VERY big slumps, in 2008 we overcame it, in 2009 we had other injuries and reasons for losing. I do believe this team can win without ray allen. And if we can find a team out there, that is willing to go over the top to get 20 million free in cap space. I say, we atleast have to listen. Because you never know what could happen if Ray is willing to take a buy out situation.

The team is a mess, it just feels like each player is trying to assert themselves at once, and we're playing very frustrated basketball.

That being said I DO NOT think all is lost, and we trade ray ONLY if it helps us this year and in the future.
