If they play like they usually do they'll have their faces in the mud the 1st quarter. If we play like we did in Cleveland, Orlando is in for a bad night.
Am I honestly the only one that thinks we didn't play all that well @ Cleveland in that opener?

Uh... what? We surmounted an early +12 point lead from the Cavs who basically hit all their shots, then our bench gave a boost by cutting the Cavs lead, then we took the lead at halftime and maintained to extend it to 15+ points in the third and to sustain it until the end of the game, when the Cavs made many runs to come back. I'm sorry but I think this was one of the greatest game (if not the greatest) the Celtics played this season.

If Rondo takes advantage of Nelson being out and plays the way he did in last night's third quarter than the Celtics win easily at home.  If he doesn't I think it will be a close game.

This. IMHO it mostly depends on whether Rondo wants to play aggressive and take over the game. He needs to push the pace, attack the basket, and hawk the ball when the Magic bring it up the court. If he plays passive, focusing more on padding his assists and steals, I don't like the Celtics chances against Orlando.

The only other thing I would mention is rebounding and turnovers. The C's have to start being more focused as a whole if they want to be an elite team. Turnovers have always been a problem, and I think it is a byproduct of wanting to be so unselfish, which isn't necessarily bad. However, the rebounding woes and failing to block-out on the offensive glass is mind-boggling.

“Being a Celtic is, every decision you make is about the team. Every cut you make is about the team. Every pass you make is about the team. You take yourself out of it. It’s not for everyone. If you don’t want to win, don’t want to play team basketball, and it’s more about you then you’re probably not a Celtic." Doc 2010

Nope. Not at all. I think the Celtics should refund all the game tickets, shut down the TDGarden, tell CSN and any national people coming to broadcast the game to go home and maybe cancel Christmas.

 ;D ;D

Please don't cancel Festivus.

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Nah Kio your right to a degree, I thought they were a little off first night, but they were playing well enough to beat the cavs. The Cavs are a better team then the magic, so if we play to that level again, then SVG is going to be carried out on a stretcher after a blowout loss to the Celtics.

boston has a tendency to get behind the magic early in the game and then have to fight up hill after that....take away the three from the magic...make howard beat you...
