My instant analysis- the current team has no one remotely similar to McHale.
Not sure that that's all that important in the overall scheme of things- what matters is winning it all- but the current team looks a bit 3 point happy to me.

NBA has had no one remotely similar to McHale since about the timeng
 he retired!

yeah i see dj slowin down rondo but dj d wouldnt be effective as the game went on...get tired rajon blow by him..

parish had the most ugly freethrow shot ever...

the only way to find out is get ya current nba live game and do the dang thang..

NBA has had no one remotely similar to McHale since about the time he retired!

I miss the days where guys could be amazing in the post on offense, and still excellent defenders, too.  Watching guys like McHale and Hakeem was a treat.

This is a good point about post defense but I think a factor is the way fouls are now called.  There is really no way to play defense the way they used to.  If you tried, you would foul out in no time.  Pierce benefits from calls as much as anyone (post or otherwise) but I really wish they would call games to allow a defender to play.
