Thunder 100, Heat 87 - Kevin Durant scored 32 points, Russell Westbrook added 24 and Oklahoma City added to its surprising start by beating host Miami.

An early 20-1 run put the Thunder in control, and a 14-2 burst in the third quarter helped seal it for Oklahoma City. Jeff Green added 13 for the Thunder, who’ve won three straight on the road.

This is on top of their win in San Antonio on Sunday night. I think I have my hands full on December 4 at the 2nd Annual Vin Baker Memorial Bobba-Q in the Pahking lot of Toby "Hoosier Daddy - Larry Bird Kieth's Bah in Bricktown, OKC.

I wonder if I'll see the Spinning Cigar Clouds and Basketball Rain attacking Q's Green Pickup truck that day.

I do not understand this part of the post. If you would have had a drunken frenchmen write it in mandarin I would probably have about the same amount of understanding as I currently do.

This part though I get. Did you watch the game? I watched from the 3rd quarter on and I was pretty darn impressed. They're a solid team no question. Played much more mature than the average age of their starting 5 (23.2) would suggest.

Also, I'd give up a late first round pick for Nick Collison. That guy is like an athletic scalabrine.

OK here is how it works - I live in Wichita, about a 2 hour drive north of OKC. There is Toby Kieth's Bar in Bricktown to the East of Ford Center within walking distance. The Vin Baker Memorial Bobba-Q (Barbaque) is my private tailgate party in honor of Vin Baker who did serve "honorably" for both the Sonics (where the Thunder relocated from) and the Celtics (who were held back three years because of this deal).

Oh yeah, I did run into foul weather in my drive down here last year. There were tornadoes in the area I was driving and the sky looked a bit green.

OKC will not give you Nick Collison for a late 1st rounder. KD is definitely a rising star in this league and the rest of the starting five is definitely OK. I saw them beat the Spurs Sunday night in between a football game I was watching.

I feel bad for Sonics fans this should have been their young team to enjoy. Instead they are in OKC where no one cares. This team will be good if they can keep all their players after the rookie contracts are up.

I watched as my school played Collison's team in high school. He was an absolute amazing beast. Couldn't be stopped.

I feel bad for Seattle but I don't project that to Oklahoma Fans.

And I do think they care. In Oklahoma City last season they averaged 18,693 people per home game, or 97% capacity.

Contrast that against say Atlanta, a place which supposedly has a pretty good basketball team, gets to the playoffs 2 years straight..

Atlanta loads in 16,748, or 89% of capacity.

Can't hate on teh people from Ok City...just the owners. And the city gov't of Seattle. Them too.

There game against the Lakers earlier this year was very entertaining. You could see their inexperience in the OT but up until then they looked good.

They're starting to get it and it's scary, no wonder why my PS3 has them win the Finals every other year.

Who has the Thunder beat?  San Antonio, Miami, Dallas(?)?  They almost beat LA.  This is a pretty good team that has been able to beat some pretty good teams.  I think as a young team they will have a lot of bumps on the road.  They'll have some impressive wins and some bad loses to really bad teams.  I do like what I am seeing from them.  I hope I get to see them more now because I like Durant.  The two lower teams that I enjoy watching now are OKC and Milwaukee (Jennings).

I don't really know how to describe watching Durant play.

It's almost like watching KG play against smaller but bullish PF's...where he's both quicker or as quick, but also 4-6 inches taller.

When he just lines up that 15ft turnaround jumper and hits it over their optimistically extended hand and you just go "Aw, that's not really fair. They couldn't stop that in a million years. Cheer up, Reggie Evans, it's ok."

Sacramento has been fun since Tyreke Evans took over at 2 guard.

I feel really bad for this team because it's only two and a half more years before Kevin Durant signs with the Celtics.   ;D

That's true.  That's why I like having the NBA channel around.  Now I have a chance to see some of these lower seeds teams playing.  I hate the nationalized games that always have the same teams playing over and over again.  Durant has been one of the most exciting players to watch but I've only had a chance to see him playing so few times.

Kevin Durant is not relyable. Many years passed, how is Thunder now? bad like before. Bad pick. They should have selected Oden.
But NBA is like this, you never know the outcome of your investment in advance.
