Rings: How many Celtics have more than Jordan?

I am getting a little tired of seeing ring lists with Russell at the top with 11 and Jordon second with six.  Does anybody know how many Celtics have more rings than Jordan?  I'm thinking Sam and KC for sure.  Maybe Havlicek, Heinsohn, Cousy, Satch, guys like that.  Thanks.  LouT

Not sure, there have been a lot of Celtics on those legendary teams back then.

But the reason why Jordan's 6 is brought up so much is because he has the most rings in our generation of NBA basketball stars.

Magic has 5 rings.

Bird has 3 rings.

Kobe, Shaq and Duncan have 4 rings.

It looks like there are 8 Celtics and Robert Horry that have 7 or more rings.  Cousy also has 6.

Thanks, Stu, the web site you cited fully answers my question.  I was particularly glad to see Loscutoff there with seven rings.  I have long questioned his name hanging up there with #6, #33, etc.,but seven rings makes a good argument for him.  LouT

If we do the math that way, wouldn't that mean that Russell has 13, since he was player-coach for two of those seasons?

Also very cool, Heinsohn & KC Jones each have more combined rings as coach and player than Phil Jackson, who only won one as a player.

One guy who is so often overlooked is Rodman. I think he got 5 rings didn't he? It's funny how we dismiss the guy so much but he was good and often doesnt get enough credit fot it.

Good point!  Heinson won as a coach in 74 and 76.  K.C. picked two up in 84 and 86?
