Brandon Jenning's = The next Allen Iverson.

Kid's got some talent. Never really thought he'd a bust, but never made a bold prediction about him being a star.

Well, for his sake, let's hope the similarities to Allen Iverson end once he steps off the court.

Although there was a lot of speculation that he was a goofball this summer, I've read a lot of positive things about his attitude - that he's humble, hard working, coachable, etc.

True, It is early to make a prediction like that too. But, yeah the video of Joe Budden when he's on the phone with Jenning's and all the bashing on Scot Skiles, I don't know how he'll turn out off the court.

I hope this kid pnas out. Living in wi I can tell you the Bucks are 3rd behind the pack and badgers. It would be nice to see some excitement over them for a change. Plus if they can make the playoffs, hopefully the seeding works out so I can see a Boston playoff game for once.
Back to wanting Joe fired.

I picked him up in my head to head fantasy league after maybe his 2nd game. I figured in 4 more games he'd fall back to Earth. He was like a 35% shooter till he started playing games that count. Now there are very very very few guys I trade him for. I'd consider Derron Williams, Joe Johnson, but don't even come here with weak azz Baron Davis or Jason Kidd or Chauncey Billups or something.

He's like Iverson with a good fg%.

I like the way he walks and talks. He's infusing the Bucks with pride they haven't felt since maybe the 1970s

I love love love it when a cocky player who knows he's the best goes on a personal mission to humble the entire league.

He was humbled in Italy and took things people said about him personally and now it's payback revenge time.

I'm in Wisconsin, too and I'd say they're no better than fourth when you count the Brewers in there.  I would even say the get challenged for fifth by the Admirals in some cases.  Though jennings is changing that for sure.  I was excited driving home from last nights game to hear Steve Sparky Phifer out of his mind on the radio over basketball...1250 is always football, football, football, baseball, Farve, football, baseball, Farve.

I was at this game in Milwaukee tonight.  Unbelievable.  Never seen anything like it.  29 in the 3rd alone.  I'll tell you something, for a state defined by the Packers, Jennings is single handedly making the Bucks relevant again.  His name is always in the air...stay tuned.

I wonder if (and I KNOW this is premature) if he leads the Bucks to the playoffs, maybe, say, the second round, is he in the MVP running?  I don;t know which is crazier, thinking a rookie could win MVP or that the Bucks could make it to the 2nd round.

Last week TNT was talking about the allstar ballot and how stupid it is to have it already released only a few games into the season.  And then Barkley mentioned something like, "I tell you who the MVP has been so far... that kid on the Bucks.  Kid is balling"...  which was just Barkley exaggerating, but... after this 55 point performance you could almost start to consider it if the Bucks end up making the playoffs.

random prediction:  the field goal percentage will not last.  By the end of the season he'll be shooting around 40%

Leading the Bucks to the playoffs might help, but getting to the second round will have no bearing on winning the MVP (voting is done at the end of the regular season).

Should be a fun year though.

If he keeps this up I wonder if this is going to encourage more kids to go the Europe instead of college.

Can't say I'd blame them either if they did.

Brandon Jennings
Tyreke Evans

i think those are both 1st team All-Rookie... i'm still up in the air with everybody else. Blair and T Williams have shown me some things.

right now this is my guess for rookie 1st team, assuming Griffin plays well when he comes back:

brandon jennings
tyreke evans
chase budinger
dejuan blair
blake griffin

then second team:

lawson
flynn
casspi
gibson
????

I can't think of really any good big men from this rookie class so far besides Blair and Griffin.

He sounds like a nice guy in interviews. I'm rooting for him.

I also hope that more young guys choose to go to Europe and make money to humble the NCAA.

it looks like we have the new Allen Iverson here, there are too many similarities in their game
Can Iverson shoot like that from deep? Those pull-up 3's are ridiculous.

It's amazing he's shooting so well considering he had a lot of trouble shooting in the Euro leagues based on his stats.  He must have really worked on his shot between then and now.

Crap. Need that guy on my fantasy squad. He'll make me rich.

(I said crap because I have just 1 trade, and I need at least 2 to make a decent move for him)
