Why do sports fans keep saying this?  Look if you get in trouble with the law, that's that, no arguing because you broke a law, the Supreme Court will uphold it and so will the US constitution.  There is nothing upholding these refs calls.  They are blatant cheaters and the more fans come up with comments like this, the more they will do it.

Amen, The need to list the Refs addresses on the Internet for some accountability.

Interesting that Doc blamed the guards for not stopping penetration, forcing the bigs into help positions and putting them at big disadvantage off the boards.  Not sure I agree with that one, though when your team breaks down defensively like that, it's generally a team effort.

Garnett's rebounding is clearly an issue in the last several games. He had 4 rebounds last game, followed up by 5 in this one, and we've been outrebounded badly both times.

The interesting part is that we were a great rebounding team the last 2 seasons, with our without Garnett. We're now getting manhandled on a regular basis in this department.

No it doesn't.   A ref or officiating staff consists of less than 10 people.  If it goes 6 to 1, the 6 get the call.  It doesn't mean they are correct.  There aren't enough people deciding the call, it is only a few people.  So whether or not the Saints play is called correctly is only up to a few people and there are both sides to a "play" it isn't always necessarily an exact science.

So Santonio Homles had complete control and Kurt Warner didn't.    You'll never know exactly what happened in those two plays you can only estimate because they were very close plays.  Many times plays are too close to call, and whatever the refs say, it seems like everybody too many people back it up without actually anylyzing the play.  Plays aren't exactly one way or the other.  There are both sides to a play. They are not one sided.

For me its not about the refs, its about the fans, and it seems like the fans are starting to act like the refs.

Sports rules aren't laws.  They are open to interpretation.   From a Cardinals' perspective it look like Santonio Holmes is bobbling the ball when he gets both feet down.  From a Cardinals' perpsective it looks like Kurt Warner's hand was moving foward and he still had a grip on the ball.    Nobody can say that those two plays are exact science calls that can be upheld by the Supreme Court and the US Constitution.    It has to do with which perspective you favor the Steelers or the Cardinals.

It's a pity we lost. I just hope Pierce is fine
I can live with losses like these if the team learns and improves from it I guess
Now I'm going to watch the Nuggets finish crushing the Lakers. See Celtics fans it's not so easy to win when your starting PF from last season's playoffs is out with an injury

I didn't watch the game but from what I gathered Friday is the new Sunday this season as far as energy level/defense/play is concerned and the quest to become the '85 Bears has been scrapped.

Welp, at least I don't feel as bad going to the Warriors/Knicks game at MSG, since I was able to steal much better seats late in the game when the Knicks fans started ragequitting.

If Rondo really did have the ball taken out of his hands, I'm displeased, and I'm quite amazed he was still able to get 9 assists. Like many people said, when he's aggressive, we usually own it up. Let him run the offense. Pierce shouldn't have to.
