Yet another annoying loss at home. I'm going to make three points that have got to change.

1.) More shots for Ray. He's just not getting enough touches even though he's had more open looks this year than his whole career
2.) Less 3's from Sheed. The guy has post game, and draws a double team down there. Plus with so many shooters on this team, that would leave someone wide open from 3...
3.) No more testing House as a PG. He can't run an offense. All his moves are predictable with the ball, and he forces up dumb contested shots and he's hardly 6'0 tall. Give the ball back to Quis and get open for 3 Eddie.

Bad coaching, terrible rebounding, and a few bad ref calls(but that's expected, but not as bad as it was against Phoenix)
Can't stop, Rondo!

And how many posters are going to pin the loss on the officiating tonight? Sorry, byt lack of effort is the reason for tonight's loss.

Im not pinning this on the officals, i am just upset overall and that it made it more frustrating

Had position on a decent amount of those offensive rebounds. One of those "bounce didn't bounce our way" nights.

I'm getting tired of people in sports saying you didn't play well as an excuse to get a ridiculous amount of calls against you.   WHEN DOES THE TEAM WHO DOESN'T GET THE CALLS WIN?  How about never.

Continue to take too many 3-pointers. Lack of effort on defense. A point guard who can't make free throws and scored only two points = another loss to a quicker and more aggressive team.

That has NOTHING to do with this loss.

To what are you referring? I mentioned like five points in my post.

This team looks old, soft, and slow. This team lacks hunger. Outside of Perkins and Williams no one wants to mix it up inside. I miss Leon Powe.

12 calls in a row against you, go look at the play by play from 10:00 to 3:30.

It was funny because after the Hawks got 12 calls in a row, the Celtics got a call, and the Hawks overreacted more against that call, than any Celtic did in the previous 12.

The only player in the league with at least ten attempts who is shooting a worse percentage is Omri Casspi (a ridiculous 3 for 15, or 20%).  Kwame Brown is pretty terrible, too (6-for-18, or 33%.  Still better than Rondo, sadly.)

This is just mind boggling.  If I'm Wyc and I just gave this guy 55 mil I'd be saying to myself Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline.....

All five, we lost because of rebounding. When you lose by 10 and you've given up 20 second chance points.... I'd say that's the reason why you lost.

Also, we're a team with a lot of very good three point shooters. I'm so sick of everyone blaming things on taking three's.

Atlanta 22 second chance points, the Celtics 4. Celtics outrebounded by 18. That is all you need to know about the effort tonight.

And the Donaghy stuff doesn't make sense here...Celtics were about 9 point favorites (never a doubt) and the Donaghy contention is that you keep games close for national television. If anything, they might just be horrible.

The one play that Pierce got fouled 3 times was a 6 point swing. I believe it should've been a goaltend because Smith hit the glass and then Bibby knocked down a 3 on the other end.

Give the Hawks a little credit, they've earned it.  This is a better, smoother team than I remember.  And there is a lot more obvious confidence there too.  They did what they needed to do.

Our guys didn't have it.  I have been especially concerned with KG lately, but I have nothing to add beyond that.

Refs have always made lousy calls and altered games.  I prefer when our C's play well enough to make it impossible for the refs to control the outcome.
