From 10:00 to 3:30 in the 4th the Celtics got called for 8 CONSECUTIVE FOUL CALLS IN A ROW, PLUS A Techinal on Perk, and a 3 second call.  That is 10 CALLS IN A ROW CALLED AGAINST YOU AT HOME IN THE 4TH QUARTER.   Plus they missed a foul on Sheed, that they didn't call, and a foul on Perk.   So it was 12 CONSECUTIVE CALLS IN A ROW THAT WENT FOR THE HAWKS.   If you think this team doesn't get cheated you are crazy.

And how many posters are going to pin the loss on the officiating tonight? Sorry, byt lack of effort is the reason for tonight's loss.

I'm tired of having a point guard that can't shoot from 10 ft away they've let off him ALL night daring him to shoot it. Every $ worth of your 10+ million point guard.
True Celtic = Leon Powe

Bring back the show!!!!

Even I'm a better shooter than Rondo at the free throw line.

hah. 30% for the year. any other starting PGs (on competitive teams) shooting that low ?

Anyone else in the league making $11m/yr+ shooting that low?

The only player in the league with at least ten attempts who is shooting a worse percentage is Omri Casspi (a ridiculous 3 for 15, or 20%).  Kwame Brown is pretty terrible, too (6-for-18, or 33%.  Still better than Rondo, sadly.)

See Roy, you are a big part of why I hang out here on game thread.  You actually have/ can find the answers to these questions!

Is it over now???

1 for 13 three point shooting --- this team has never been dependent on shooting 3's but they have definitely fallen into that trap.  Not hitting 3's and therefore they can't score any points.  The C's are going to have to find an inside game quickly.

KG is slow to the ball when going for rebounds and the team in general is just horrid on the glass right now.  No excuse for getting beat time after time for rebounds.

No excuse from Doc or some posters about 8 games in 12 nights blah blah blah.  2 straight home games with a day off inbetween leaves no room for excuses when trying to explain this horrid effort...

What does not playing that great have to do with getting 12 CONSECUTIVE CALLS GO AGAINST YOU AT HOME IN THE 4TH QUARTER?  So because you aren't playing that great you get 12 calls in a row against you.  Don't think so.

Add these losses to close calls at Minni and NJ and a pre-season loss to the Knicks. Is this starting to look like a pattern?

Defensively and off the boards.  Glad I didn't pay money to go to this one.

Hubie- 'C's got out hustled in the painted area by the Hawks'.

Sums this game up pretty succinctly.

I haven't been happy with the officiating at all, but the lack of effort on the glass is glaringly bad, as is the absence of any inside game whatsoever.

Wait till the playoffs. Will have a ton game 7's because Rondo can't shoot anything.

Continue to take too many 3-pointers. Lack of effort on defense. A point guard who can't make free throws and scored only two points = another loss to a quicker and more aggressive team.

That has NOTHING to do with this loss.

Not playing well is not an excuse to get 12 calls against you in a row at home in the 4th.

yup it was very competitive before that.

Very disappointing. The loss is bad enough, but the lack of effort is even worse. I really fear tomorrow's game at Indy. 10 games in and we look old and tired.
