I don't think he's a very good coach. You have to be on some type of drugs to be playing Bobby Brown over Darren Collison. It looks like he only changed it up after Bower made the call from the top. I remember a game last year where I may have had some, um, points on New Orleans and the other team went on a 22-2 run or something like that and Scott was just standing on the sidelines watching Sean Marks get abused...I've been in the "fire Byron Scott" camp since then.

Their gm isn't to blame either, but when the team gives up on the coach, the coach is to blame. Those 18 loss in a row Boston Celtics clawed their butts off every game. They still had tenacity. A Doc Rivers team is also never out of a game. The reputation on the Hornets is that they shut down with a 15 point deficit.

Ehh, he seems like he can coach well enough. Its just the biz. Front office thinks they can keep the heat of their backs by appeasing their fans with this scapegoat firing. Its how 90% of coaches go.

He'll get work soon. And its not like he needs the money, I mean really, former NBA player who's been working with a lucrative coaching contract...

He'll be aight.

I also think it was too early to make this move but maybe there was some intern problems with Scott.

Intern problems?  Like Pres. Clinton?    ::)

I feel he is a good coach but not personnel directing coach (docs strongpt).  This is something that is really needed in today's nba, baby the stars and deal with egos, agents, owners etc
scott is a thick headed egomaniac, he'll always have coaching jobs but never last with any one team very long
players don't like him after awhile etc
(see scott skiles)

Hahahahahahahahahaha

Byron Scott was reportedly tapping his foot vigorously on the floor of the men's bathroom while clearing his throat loudly every day or two....
