It is good to get guys like Pierce and Ray playing time with players that they usually don't play with for that long on the court. The best way to get timing down is to play with them, obviously.

Doc most likely wanted to get Ray playing time with Daniels, House, Sheed, and Williams. How can a player be comfortable in a game if he isnt used to how his teammates play around him? We also know that Doc likes to experiment with lineups.

To me, not an issue.

Ray played 32 minutes, and the team is coming off a long rest. I think you're being a bit silly. Paul and Rondo played the exact same minutes as Ray, its pretty clear 30-32 is the magic minute number that Doc would like to have all three of them at.

Doc has killed Ray before by playing him 40+ when he didn't have to, he didn't do that tonight.
Extremely silly. I would say clueless even.

Considering the number of days the team had off, this is one of those broken record threads. Complaining about 32 minutes for a guard? Silly.

He played 4 minutes in the fourth which had the intensity of a bake sale at the local senior center.

hahahahahahaha TP
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

Agreed. I was thinking too that Ray should have been on the bench at this time but he played 32 minutes in all, and there must have been 8 minutes of just making passes and running. It's OK, good minutes management from Doc in this game.

Ray's father, a long time military man, was in attendence Wednesday night. Mr. Allen does not attend many games.

I didn't have a problem with it at all. As a matter of fact I thought it was a good idea as this was one of Ray's best games of the season. He seemed to have a good shooting touch, was taking it to the hoop and handling the ball much better. I have heard early in the season that he has asked to stay in game to help get his game back, I don't saa a problem with him staying in to help build on it.
