I don't see why Cleveland never plays him at PF. He would create so many mismatches against opposing teams. They should go with a starting lineup of

PG: Mo Williams
SG: Delonte
SF: Parker or Moon
PF: Lebron
 C: Shaq

This would allow Lebron to get out on the fast break with a smaller lineup and still be able to have a half court offense with Shaq or Big Z in there . To me this is how they would be most successful. I really think Mike Brown has no clue what he is doing.

You are not the only one who thinks that way.  Mike Brown can coach defense, he is clueless when it comes to offense

I don't see why we're worried about solutions to Cleveland's problems.  I hope they continue to get worse every game as I do every other team in the NBA besides the C's.

Let LeCrab and the rest of the league rot.

Too harsh?

If he can coach defense then why does he not realize that he's killing his team defensively with his Old Tower lineup? Neither are very good defensive centers, never mind power forwards.

Yeah i think everyone else in the world has thought of / discussed this but Mike Brown. Houston's winning ballgames with a 6'6" center for Pete's sake...

I don't think this would be a good starting line up, but he should play a similar one for about 10 to 15 minutes a game.

Lebron in limited minutes as a PF is probably a good idea.

Not a good idea for 35-40 minutes a game, though.

Agreed. The Cavs miss having a 4 like Joe Smith. It would have been scary if the Cavs landed Sheed or McDyess. ...A smart mobile big with range.

LeBron can play any position, you're right why not put him up at PF.  They are killing their own team when they put in Big Z and Shaq in at the same time with LeBron.  There's absolutely no room to get inside if you're LeBron, and also you have two 7-footers that are slow as molasses! ...But I can't complain.  I love to see the Cavs lose and LeBron not have his way..

Like the "foul" at the end of the game last night.  Maybe he did get hit with a little bit of body by Noah, but in my eyes it's not that much of a foul to call and decide the game just because it's LeBron going to the hoop.  When he doesn't get his way he cries about everything.

But of course that's the problem I thought would occur: their two best big men are Shaq and Z; however, they can't coexist.  Factor in the fact that Shaq is only marginally better than Z at this point, and you get a fairly minor bump from Shaq at best.

I agree with you, and I'm surprised to see people create all these threads about "How can the Cavs improve?". If they do, it's not for the best of our interests so... let them with their awful coach and enjoy seeing them struggle.

Somehow I doubt a CBposter is going to inspire Mike Brown or LeBron to change up what they're doing...

I agree I guess I would just say that they would have to change their entire offense to do that which now consists of Lebron having the ball in his hands 78% of the time. It could take days to deconstruct their complicated offense to impliment anything with Lebron getting the ball on the post.

The problem isn't the coaching and LeBron is a mismatch at whatever position he plays. The rest of the Cavs are scubs or overthehill guys. Shaq is there second best player and he's like 100 years old. Everyone on that team is wide open and LeBron is a great passer but he's all alone on that team.

I think at this point the only thing that is going to help LeBron and the Cavs is a trade. The makeup of this team is just not very good. The have two old, immobile, slow centers, one defensive minded, offensively inept power forward, three undersized 2 guards masquerading as PGs, two very, very mediocre bench wings, no real PGS and about 3-4 other players that probably won't be in the league at this time in 2 years. Oh, and LeBron.

Now because of LeBron they are a real contender in the East but as currently constructed, they aren't going ato the ECFs this year.

One last thing, Mike Briown is a wildly over-rated coach.

With each loss I can't help thinking LeBron is going to be racking up some long distance charges making phone calls to Russia this off season and also will start looking for a Manhattan condo soon.
