They are just blowing people away.  KG and Ray basically stunk it up and they still win by 30.  :o And against a team that has averaged 100 ppg.

I've been saying it since the start of the season, perhaps a bit prematurely, however I still believe it... this is the best and deepest team I have ever seen. Therefore, yes IMO they are better.

They have the potential to be. The 2007-2008 team blew out a lot of teams to start out of the year as well though.

But until we see that Garnett is fully back, and healthy we can't say.

Yeah, but i wish we still had Powe and Posey.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

Yeah, but i wish we still had Powe and Posey.

Why?  Powe is hurt and can't play and may never be the same when he does play, plus, I think Sheldon might be better than Powe (being able to actually play gives him the edge).   The Sheed/Daniels combo is better than Posey.

When Baby comes back our team will be STACKED. 8)

Yeah, but i wish we still had Powe and Posey.

Shelden Williams is making me forget the 2007 Leon Powe.

Sheed is > PJ Brown IMO, plus we have him for the whole season.

Posey was then but isnt > Quisy now.

Rondo is a lot sassier.

Eddie is much more confident in his role.

I miss Pollard some but we are definitely deeper in bench bigs and we have better shooters this year. This counting the overall improvement in Glen Davis when he returns. We need to improve our FT shooting some and be careful not to fall too much in love with the jump shot. I think we have an excellent chance to win 70 games if we can keep everyone healthy and keep the minutes low like we have so far.

Night & Day. Not even close.

You can say KG & Ray lost a step, but Rondo, Perk, and Baby took two steps forward. Sheed is as close as it gets to KG. Marquis, in my opinion, is better than Posey. He does it all on the court. Sheldon is playing possessed. Even House, who finally earned Doc's respect, is setting the court on fire. 1 through 10 deep.

WAYY better, the only problem is that The Lakers are better and The Cavs are just as good as the Pistons were then. Orlando is also better then the 07 Cavs.

KG of 07 was definitely better than this one, Paul and Ray are about the same, while Rondo,Perk and Baby improved a lot.

We are deeper. We have 4 guys on the banch that could score about 20 points starting for other teams. Our front line is just amazing.

We just need to go into playoffs healthy and we can show them all how good and deep this team can be. Regular season is just a preview and all we have to do is to avoid major injuries. I have the same feeling about this year just as I had about 07, and I hope the outcome would be the same.

Yeah, Baby is sure filling up the stat sheet in those 5 wins this year. I can't believe how much better he looks than last year. It's almost as if he is a different player. Interesting how he changed his number to 13 this year?!  ???

Wasn't last year playoffs enough to show of how he improved comparing to 07? And in this preseason he looked even more fit.

Or you are just another Baby basher?

Give it time...  but on paper it could be.  I think the Rasheed / Marquis combo was unmatched by the title team.  They had Posey, but he couldn't match the contributions of both of those guys.

We've got a better bench, an improved Rondo and Perkins, and I don't think the Big 3 have fallen off particularly sharply.

So yes, better. And showing it.
