I take no particular joy in this.  I'd rather see the Lakers lose when fully healthy, rather than giving them an excuse.
I'd rather see them lose period.

I like Gasol though. I rather it be Kobe.

In case anyone wasn't aware, championships count regardless of what opponents were injured.

i understand your thinking, but i prefer to be petty, self-serving, and mean spirited.  ;D

i am glad this is not career ending, but i hope the lakers lose like hell for a while, gasol is out/ineffective for the season, and that the rest of the team is worn out and exhausted by the playoffs.

then they get humiliated and swept in the first round. i would get a great deal of personal satisfaction from that.

so, i consider this to be good news...but then please remember i am a pretty petty guy. :)
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

TP for the title. It made me chuckle.
I hope the Lakers get a few Mavericks-style beatdowns in the meantime but I do feel bad for Gasol. I have a new-found respect for the man. I know if I was shooting over 50% from the field and watching Kobe bogging the team down with his ballhogging for two seasons I'd be alternating between kicking him in the shin and throwing errant passes at his head any chance I got.
Tommy: He's got a line about me. Tell him the line.

Mike: Everybody 60 or over knows Tommy as a player. Everybody 40 or over knows Tommy as a coach. Everybody 20 or over knows Tommy as a broadcaster. And everybody 10 or under thinks he's Shrek.

Now that's hilarious. I about spit soda all over my computer. If you had a way to photoshop Gasol's face on that llama I'd give you a thousand TP's. Here's the one that I can give though!

Hold up, looking for a shot of Pierce in the wheelchair 2 years ago vs. Lakers.  Seen that shot you dick??  Hamstring injuries are no joke if you ask any athlete.  Look for something more meaningful to post green piece of crap.

Productive first and last post in this forum. You know Pau looks like a Llama you dont have to get all worked up about it.

I kind of like this for the regular season. As long as its nothing long-term, because them we have another Bynum-esque excuse on our hands--nothing worse than giving those bandwagon idiots an excuse, even if its a ridiculously poor one (hello, Andrew. How's putting up like 10 points a game against mediocre competition going?).
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

I'm a little surprised that Gasol has a hamstring at all.  I thought he was all marshmallow inside.

But, like others, I'd rather see the Lakers lose healthy.  No excuses then.

In the same boat as the others who want to be a healthy Lakers team so there are no excuses.  If this happens to shift home court in our advantage, I'm down with that, however, that's about it.

I don't mind the excuses this time around because we can always use the KG card from last year.

OMG Redz, I love it!   The Laaammmaaaa  is down.

Serious tho, how bad are slightly torn hamstrings? Doesn't sound good.
