No surprise here. I posted it before it was even posted on ESPN. Pretty good, huh??

Right where we should be, of course.  It's waaay too small a sample size, but I'd like to see what Hollinger's rankings look like right now, because we must have an absolutely obscene lead on the rest of the league.

Hollinger said he needs a two week sample size before producing. But his rankings are based largely on margin of victory, so if we keep it up, we will clearly be number one there as well.

The only thing we have to keep in mind is that 3/4 games were at home. Seeing how we do on a little road trip will be interesting this week, starting in Philly tomorrow.

I think he said in a chat that he won't put up his rankings until 8 games or so. Otherwise the sample size is just ridiculouslly small.

Not that 8 games isn't too small itself....

Oh yeah, and 8 is too small too, 15 or so would be more like it for a model like that.  I'd just like to see how ridiculous the numbers would look right now because of the small sample size and our huge margin of victory.

I like them because the spur debate between fans of teams. They are totally without any bearing, but are fun.

I like them when we're number one not so much when we're not.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

I love the "What's wrong" part for us. It's so true. We held them to 87 points and I still felt disappointed in our overall effort.

If this team can manage to not force stupid turnovers like they did in the 3rd, they really are going to be a scary defensive team. Even better than I imagined going into the season.

Me as well.  Not looking forward to hollinger's either way.  No bbiq goes into his rankings.

It depends which power rankings but the ESPN ones are really crappy in my opinion (too much Cleveland love or stupid criterias to make their choices). Anyway, this time they couldn't put the Celtics at any other spot than #1 so I'm fine with it, especially after they spent the whole summer saying "we need to see if they are healthy, how is KG" stuff.

And did you guys "really listen" to Bill Simmons the other night during the Bulls game on ESPN.  This tea bag is still harping on KG having staples being put in his knee which didn't happen if you ask any credible source.

Bill stepped in a big pile of whatever his "doctor friend" told him and he's still sticking with that to try and justify speculating on this fictional Celtics conspiracy.  They even acted like "Uh oh he missed a dunk!  He doesn't look the same".  Can "The Sports Guy" please just go back to LA?

I wish he was still with the announcers when KG made the alley-oop later in the game.

He's a tool and keeps proving it every time I hear him.  Sooner or later he'll have people believing he meant KG will never be the KG of 2003. He's bitter that 99% of his opinions regarding the C's and the NBA in general are wrong.
