Just a quick fun fact:

Paul Pierce needs just 16 more 3's to pass Antoine Walker, for 15th on the NBA's all time career 3pt made scoring list.

As of right now Paul Pierce sits at #16 on the all time 3pt list with 1,371
Antoine Walker is at # -15  with -1,386

Paul Pierce is at 16 and needs to make 15 to tie for 15th;or make 16 to claim 15th outright

Very soon they day will come, that Paul Pierce has made more threes than Employee #-8

(since antoine is in debt, i think all of his stats should officially be tagged with a negative until he can pay everything off)

Of course he needs to attempt 500 more to match Antoine's total attempts.

Another two seasons will take care of that....

Now that seems more like it. I knew there was no way he could have attempted as many as Toine. lol

He attempts about one less a game, it adds up but both guys throw up a lot of threes.

Of course Pierce makes a lot more too.

It's funny how Walker and Rasheed have been playing the basic offensive scheme, sitting on the three point line and firing it away.  The only difference is that Sheed is making those right now and Walker wasn't making as many on the later part of his career.

Walker also was the starting PF for the team.

If Sheed was our starter I'd be very very concerned with how limited his offensive game is currently.

But as a started, Walker was averaging more than 20 ppg, so he was affective.  The problem was when the shots were falling.

Considering his low shooting percentages and turnovers Antoine's 20 PPG were worth a lot less than Paul's 20 PPG.

You can get a lot of points by just taking a lot of shots. Just ask Jamaal Crawford and Janero Pargo. That doesn't mean its good for your team to take them...

Do you want to make some sort of bet about this?

A bet that Antoine is an overated offensive player? Sure, for the first bit of my argument I'll put up this:

Nice to see Pierce shooting the 3-ball at such a high %  ;D
