I hate bringing this up, but Ray Allen's minutes are a problem.

I've got no problem if he's playing 38+ minutes in close games.  It's when he's doing that when the team is winning by 30 that bugs me.

I still have a problem with Ray or Paul playing +++ minutes even in close games. I remember at least a couple games last year where the Cs would be way down, Doc would keep Paul and Ray in and then the score differential would shrink, but in the end the opponent would win.  And Ray and Paul would have played 40+ minutes (this happened with at least one Orlando regular season game).

I think that Ray and Paul and KG need to be kept to a certain number of mins per game no matter what when we are talking about regular season.

Celtics fan for life.

boston needed a game like this...where they had to make plays down the stretch to win....just what the doc ordered

Agreed. Close games down the stretch are thriling too! But I prefer blowouts to rest the starters.

Great execution down the stretch and clutch plays but overall sloppy performance from the C's. The sunday early game curse? ???

Anyway, great win, nice to go 4-0. And I may be thinking too much but I caught some unusual smiles from Rondo tonight, like "I'm just going/I just have been to get a big contract with the C's".

Good night guys, TP for everyone!

I'm not at all amused with Rajon today.  Usually I'm his biggest fangirl, but don't trash talk a guy after a game (when you should be shaking his hand) when you've been outplayed by him all night.

You do realize that he's been playing 34 minutes per game entering this game right?

He's quite fine, particularly early in the season. Come back when it's April or so.

still would like to see tony dealt for a legit back up SG/SF to pair with eddie and Q....i think you never can have too many shooters on your bench and honestly tony allen doesnt fit that mold...

i am glad to see rondo go at CP3....paul is a big mouth on the court and i want rondo playing with fire....he is out to prove he belongs

They're two of the chippiest PGs in the game...I'm not surprised they'd mix it up in a close game.  And if Rondo does in fact have a deal in principle, there's no way he's not gonna be chirping out there.

Disagree with that completely, i don't want anybody kissing anybody's anything. I want Perk to hate DH and get in his face, i want Rondo to get into it with CP and tell him how he's not leading the league in assists ever again.

Thats called being a competitor. Us against the world attitude is what wins championships... not being best friends with all the superstars.

you've been outplayed by him all night.

debatable.
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

I agree with you up to a point-I want him to be a competitor during the game and make his point with his play.  Not to act unsportman-like after you've already won.  But that's really just a stylistic difference between us I suppose.  :)
