Giddens must be in Doc's seriously deep doghouse if when Marquis and Pierce were in major foul trouble he could only muster 2 minutes and then the C's are blowing out a team by 30 entering the 4th and Doc would rather play Ray 40 minutes than Giddens even one.

Giddens played what are you talking about?

1:50 , in the second quarter.

Ray is a pro, fellas. He'll tell Doc when he needs a blow. Don't sweat the minutes.

Ray Allen is STILL in the game?!

My thoughts exactly, it's not necessary!

Unless no more morning shoot arounds and the extra sleep really has transformed Ray into a 25 year old.

Yeah and he played 42 last night. At least he's finally out now.

Ray Allen has played way too much the last two games.  Way too much.
We're really going to start complaining about long minutes after 2 games????

I think Williams is the BBD replacement we have been looking for.

Disagree. Williams has no offensive game.

And once Scal is back I expect him to be the 4th big, not Williams.

Again, we don't need offense from Williams. We need boards and defense, and he's providing plenty of each.

37 minutes already for Ray on the second game of a back to back in a blowout.

With the game being such a blow out, I don't get why Doc couldn't leave Giddens out there. It's as if he's trying to prove a point: practice hard and work on your game to get minutes. I'm all for that, but not when ray has to play that many minutes on a back to back!

Come on, nick.  You're generally a straight shooter:  are you thrilled with the minutes Ray has gotten?  Would you have done anything differently?

I hope not. I like that Sheldon works the boards. We don't need Scal and Sheed out beyond the 3 point line.
