Just another win but in Cleveland, this has to be huge for the C's who haven't won in Cleveland in years.

I was just pondering this. When was the last time we won in Cleveland?

2004!

Great great win. So glad that we won in Cleveland and made a big statement in the first game.

Positives from the game :
the bench
the Captain
the passing game
Perk's jumpshot (will be a monster by April)
Marquis Daniels. Just GREAT

Negatives :
KG was not in shape in the second half
Big Three played too much (back to back tomorrow...)
Turnovers
Sloppy plays

Overall a great way to start the season. Now I've 4 hours of sleep before going to work, but I'm glad to have stayed awake for this win. Good night guys! ;D

Agree on all fronts. TP for the effort.

I'll say this, if LeBron can shoot like he did this game for the whole year, excluding the C's Lakers and Spurs, the rest of the NBA can just go home.

TPs all around!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  :D

indeed. nice start to the season. came out flat. fought back. big play from the bench, especially in the 2nd. nice to be able to have 'sheed out there to close out games. more consistent shooting from ray which will pick up and this isn't even close.

Nice recap.  Now go wind down and get some sleep, my friend.

Aww.. LeBron shaking hands. I'm so proud of him.

Great, great win though!  :D

I have hate/love relationship with Lebron. Can we get him? I hope Ainge can work more magic.

But our pg is a better pg than he is and our sf is a better sf than he is

We need another tall SG/SF who can spread the floor.

and Paul Pierce outplays Lebron yet again

I wouldn't go that far, but he won, which is all that matters.

Typical Hollywood trash in LA. Celtics know how to raise a banner.

Solid all the way around, although it's disappointing to see a post - already - campaigning for rookie minutes that aren't going to happen at the expense of a vet who did a solid job defending.

Now, back to the game. Loved the defensive intensity. Cleveland didn't get many easy ones. LBJ had to make the tough shots.

Pierce - that guy who kept getting ripped on this board during the playoffs - was clutch down the stretch when Cleveland made a little run. Loved the different look Sheed gives us down the stretch to keep the other defense honest.

Really, really nice win.

And although I hate the Lakers, Jeanie Buss is kinda hot.
