You guys are Celtics fans right?
Tell me a C's team that Toine was on where he didn't need to take a lot of shots or play point forward, power forward or even center?
Sheed's been on some pretty good teams in his career, so it wasn't just all on him for his team to be good.
Toine was not so lucky, so his efficiency and his turnovers are also inflated. (By how much, I am not sure).
I think Sheed's desire for not wanting "to be the man" on his team is selfish. He is quite capable of being a superstar player on his team and his team could have benefited a lot.
I think Sheed's attitude on the court and with the refs cost his team a lot and was a detriment and a stain on his career.
Also, the hall of fame should be a place for great players, not role or team players.
If the hall allowed room for role or team players, then it's not worthy to be called the hall of fame; it would just be called the "hall of every player that weren't terrible"....or something like that.
