Nice defensive performance.  Lester Hudson's best game as a Celtic. I didn't think he was an NBA player, but maybe I was wrong. He played under control and made good decisions.

It was also nice to see Shelden Williams play a solid game, doing what he does best.

Too bad it wasn't the regular season.

Quiz has really impressed me off the bench...if he averages 10-15 points with sheed, eddie and baby...boston is going to be very tough to beat

you mean:
... lucky for the Cavs it wasn't regular season.  Imagine the fun the talking heads would have with the Cs beating the Cavs by double digits and Ray and KG not playing.

LOL TP. I like this. There should be a "the smaller big 3" one for Rondo Perk and Big Baby who are not a bad trio themselves

Indeed, the definition of DEPTH!!!

Lots of good things seen tonight, alright  ;)

no ray and no KG?? boston still dominates....i know it is preseason but it is nice to see...lester is going to play IMO

So you think he is going to take some of Quis and Eddie's minutes? I just don't see it happening. He might play, but not much at all. I want the best five on the floor when possible and i think Eddie and Quis get the nod over him

think of how many big three's we have. Perk KG and Sheed are our literal BIG three.

he could provide some flex for the C's esp if they start Quiz at the 2 and give ray nights off....i don't think he will play a ton of minutes..but i said that about big baby his first year....def. give Doc some PG options finally

Ouch, JR with the 0-fer.  It's looking more and more like it'll be JR sent down and Lester dressing (til TA or Walker get back at least).  Can't wait to actually watch the kid in a game, it sounds like he's looking very solid.

He'll be a good guy to have in there if anybody gets in foul, or injury trouble. If Pierce gets in foul trouble Quis bumps up to 3 and that leaves a spot for another guard to shine.

Plus in the second half if Rondo's ankles start to act up again.

He's doing what he is told. Doc made it clear. JR isn't a scorer for this team, but rather a defender. So all of his focus now is defensively. Come game day, JR will active and dressed.

But that is only because TA and Walker are injured, and Shelden probably won't play much.  I don't the Cs will pick up Giddens' option, and I don't think he will be on the team at this time next year.

Did he play well on D?  I can't see the games, I'm basing this on other people's reactions.  Seems like Lester has been better than JR in every game.

Yah, Lester is a lot better than originally thought. The biggest surprise so far. I think Lester will be able to contribute this year. I can't say the same about JR. Maybe few defensive assignments here and there

Yeah you can never have enough depth. Personally I would love to see Lester get some minutes because that means he is earning them and must be doing well when he's on the floor. I'm all for the best players playing regardless if they are a rookie or a vet. I just want the players out there that are gonna win us a championship.

He may be better than J.R., but once Walker and Allen are healthy, will either player even be on the active roster.  I could see Hudson, J.R., and Sheldon all inactive come December.
