Wow ... way too many egos on the CBS analysts desk ... I'd hate to be the gopher on that set. ;)

That might be the nail in the coffin to the Colts' hopes of a perfect season.

I think this was a horrible decision by Caldwell.  When you have the chance to go for an undefeated season, I think you've got to do it.  His players are openly irritated on the sidelines; I think the better route to go is to keep your players motivated and all pulling in a common direction.

Colts starters certainly didn't look happy being on the sideline watching things.  Gotta be a sense of deflation there.

The opportunity for a perfect season is so rare.  You gotta try and make the most of it.  Not yank your starters for "rest".  They're already gonna have a bye week.

That being said, no tears shed here seeing Indy lose.

  • Yup
Not a fan of teams sitting starters when their opponent is still in the mix for the playoffs.  The Colts have been pretty consistent with this policy over the years though.
Yup

Playoff picture is still in flux as we are halfway through the late afternoon games.

I love how both networks do doubleheaders the last week of the season.

I'm rooting for Denver in the final game of our "Survivor / Three Strikes" pool.  That's looking like a pretty dubious pick at this point.

I don't like this at all. Without Welker they can just double team Randy Moss all game. The only way I see the Pats winning this game is if they can run the ball effectively, but that's easier said than done against Baltimore.
