Yeah, well... I was one of the first to root for Starbury and I wanted the C's to re-sign him but since then he has gone crazy. I really didn't like his stupid attacks about Pierce, and his overall streaming and Twitter craziness.

Funny that he speaks as if he made the choice to sit down during the season... it's not as if nobody wanted of him since his vaseline and cie stories. ::)

This guy needs some medical help, for real. I really think he's lost it. I doubt any team will give a...third chance(?) to a 33 year old guy with such an attitude and craziness. He's done drugs on internet, eaten vaseline, ripped former teammates...

Good luck, Marbury...

The guy is insane...

It's a shame since he's still really really talented. He could probably be a starter for half of the teams in the league if his head was on straight. I'm not sure if he has even declined that much physically from his prime playing days, just his mental state has declined, and he has distanced himself from reality. , I will always remember that one game in the playoffs against the Magic when he had the hot hand and kept the Celtics in the game in the 4th quarter, that was his only bright spot for us, but showed that he could still play.

I think Stephon Marbury would be a good person to use in an anti-marijuana campaign, kids don't smoke weed or you'll end up like him! Not that I'm against weed, but I think Marbury would be better off if he never smoked weed again.

I think if they actually checked him out, they would find that marbury has some sort of psychological disorder, maybe he's bi-polar, maybe he has ADD, maybe psychosis, I dunno, something's not right with him and it was evident for his whole career, now that he doesn't have basketball to worry about, his bat Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline. craziness has been on full display.

He definitely doesn't need the money. I think he really enjoyed his time off when the Knicks banned him from the team, and probably doesn't care enough to play in the NBA again.

  • There can only be one.

Yeah, because those are all signs of a REAL medical problem. Gimme a break. Anyone who believes Marbury is really crazy just based off of his internet shenanigans should get themselves checked.  ::)

Seriously though, none of you know Marbury, so why assume he's crazy just cause of what's been done on the internet? And I admit, the Paul Pierce thing was a little too far, but I'm sure Marbury wasn't the only teammate who had a problem with one of his teammates, he was just the only one to admit it.

But I digress; the news of Marbury not returning this year saddened me. Mostly over what could have been. Marbury was improving by a great margin in those last few games in the Playoffs, and maybe, just maybe, if he had returned this year, I'm sure he would have been in great shape and would be a great asset to this team.

i just don't get this - he was so rusty last year after being forced to sit for the season by the knicks...and now he's voluntarily doing so? his stock is going to go down even more, and as it stands, i don't even know if anyone other than us offered him a contract. steph probably just ended his nba career.

No matter how Starbury spins it, don't let him convince you that this is "voluntary".

Ok I'll admit it. I was a big fan of getting this guy (refuse to speak or type his name now) last year but now... I would'nt pee on him if he was on fire, in fact I might use the fire to light up a blunt and party on his corpse. Ok that might be alittle too far. But I lost all respect for this chump. Not that I had much before he joined the team, but I thought hey...Give the guy another chance, on a winning team that he does'nt need to do to much and he might be able to help us. Plus he would come cheep. Well I was right about the cheep part aleast.  ::) Thats the last time I ever speek on this poisonbury again. LET HIM ROTT
