Has ESPN Insider actually clarified from which end of Starbury this poo was dripping?   ::)

Actually RedsArmy.com had the scoop...of poo

People can remember Paul for being a jerk for that play, I don't.  If Tinsley acts like he is supposed to, nothing happens. It is only because Tinsley pulled off the flop of his life that anything was ever called.  Paul moved his arm back one way, that is not going to knock anyone over unless you are trying to get a job in hollywood.

On that play Tinsley was all in Pierce's face after the whistle, and Paul lightly used his arm to move Jamal off of him.  Tinsley should have won the Acadamey Award it was a total acting job.   No player falls from a play like that it was an act.   It was only a bad play because it was late in an important Game 6.   It wasn't a bad behavior play, it was a bad basketball play, only because of how Tinsley pulled off the acting job.
Every player changes from a rookie to a 12 year vet, Paul has always been a class act.  This is a guy who grew up in LA as a Laker fan, got signed by Boston and stuck it out there for his entire hall of famer, championship(s) winning career.  He didn't act like a little baby and complain to get back to his hometown.   He should always be respected for that.

Come on now, im one of the biggest paul boosters around, he is the reason i became a basketball fan when he was drafted when i was 15. He is the heart and soul of this team.

But that was an immature play and an immature pouting session afterwords. It was embarrassingly uncomfortable at the time for the club and for paul.

It was part of paul growing from a young kid into the mature leader and celtic legend he is today, but let's not engage in revisionist history. He was being a jerk.

Steve is right, I love paul because of the journey he's taken to get to where he is today. It's why him accepting the Finals MVP trophy is my favorite moment from that whole season, but I'm not going to pretend thier are no rough edges to paul's legend.

They were, and to his never ending credit, he dealt with them like a man and now is the shining example of how you should conduct yourself as a NBA superstar. To pretend he's never had issues is to deny what makes him so unique and real as a player.

Extremely well-said, Crownsy. (TP) There is no bigger Paul Pierce fan on this earth than yours truly, (though many just as big ;)), and what this city owes to him is immeasurable. But he would be the first to tell you that he has had his issues over the years, and is as human as the rest of us. I think that those issues, and his determination to overcome them and evolve into the mature and unselfish superstar player he is today, are some of the main reasons he's gained such respect in this league. Those are the things that build character and self-respect ... a determination to improve oneself and shed those things that hold us back, and Paul has done that as well as any player in recent history. One of the greatest things about the "Truth" is that he knows it's a never-ending process, and always expects the best from himself, and knows there's always room for improvement.

This makes me want to just randomly slap him. Not even punch him, just to slap him randomly. It's kinda that annoying person, that you can't get away, but you can't use physical force of course. lol ohh god.

So I'm listening to 98.5 the Sports Hub and they're talking about this Marbury/Pierce thing.  Then this guy calls in saying he met Marbury at a local establishment last year, and talked about the Celtics for an hour.  The guy said that there was just a general jealousy/hatred towards the Big 3 and even Rondo.  But when the guy brought up Pierce he said Marbury would flare up and would start spewing a lot of hatred towards him.  The guy ad libed that Marbury said Pierce was just plain garbage and he wasn't even that good (he said there were a lot more profanities thrown in there from Marbury).

Marbury: no ring, vasaline eater, street cred, chemsitry problems,washed-up, unemployed

Pierce:a ring, finals mvp, heart and soul,all-star mvp, chemsitry

I'll take the no street cred paul pierce. Maybe we should trade paul pierce because he has no street cred ;D it's better for him to lose some street cred, that to lose his game, marbury doens't seem to understand.

I think it would be great if Pierce tweeted something back like:

If cheating on your wife is what it takes to be hood, I guess I can't hang with the Stephs and Kobes.  You got me there Steph.

Lol, as much as I'd love it if Pierce tweeted back something like this, being a big time professional athlete and all, he'd probably be setting himself up for a Palmerio.  "Let me start by telling you this: I have never used steroids, period. I don't know how to say it any more clearly than that. Never."

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class
