Offical 'Join My Fantasy Basketball League' Thread (Merged)

I created a league at hoops.sports.ws  It is free and I like the site a lot.  The league name is C-Blog and the password is banner18.  Feel free to sign up (if you need an email invite let me know and I will do it, but I think just having the password is sufficient).  Right now I left it at 32 teams, but don't plan on that many teams in the league.  Scoring is below, but I'm more than happy to change it if the league would like. 

It is head to head scoring, but it goes by actual game #, so all the teams actual game 1 will be game 1 in fantasy.  As the season progresses you will have multiple open box scores (if the celtics have played 3 games but the cavs have played 1 game, any celtics' player would have scoring for the 3 games, while the cavs would only have scoring for 1 game). 

Unlike most leagues you have set minutes to use (not roster spots), so you will get a total of 48 minutes at center, 96 minutes at guard, and 96 minutes at forward.  So if you have a player that gets injured 2 minutes into a game you aren't out of luck like on most leagues.  The way it works is you list your players in order that you want to play.  Some guys are GF or FC, so they could achieve minutes at two positions (you can change the order).  So if you had C Perkins, C Shaq, and CF Nowitzki in slot 1, 2, and 3 and Perkins played 25 minutes, Shaq played 15 minutes, and Nowitzki played 40 minutes, Perk and Shaq would take up 40 of the 48 center minutes.  Nowitzki would play 8 minutes at center and 32 minutes at forward.  If you have a center play 40 minutes, but only 4 fantasy minutes, his points would be prorated based on the percentage (4/40 = 10%, so he would get 10% of his total fantasy points on your score).

The draft is online, but it isn't live.  So I will set a time limit for picking and you have that amount of time to pick.  You can set up contingencies ahead of time (10-20 slots), so it will auto-pick if you have the contingencies when it comes to you.  I haven't picked a time limit yet, but it will probably be 24 hours to start and lowered as we move deeper in the draft.  If you get skipped you can draft at any time after your pick.  You can also set it up to auto pick for you if you are away.

Need at least 1, preferably 3 owners for a Roto style league on ESPN.com.  Must be able to make the online auction scheduled for THIS THURSDAY night.  If you've never done an auction before, you're missing out.

We had 10 owners last season, and booted one due to inactivity.  Owners are from around the country and not limited to Celtics fans.

Here's the one I created. I think it's the best setup to create a fun and enjoyable league. If u join, PLEASE PLEASE keep up with your team. I hate joining leagues and 1 month in, no1 is there. I dont need you to look at your team everyday(but if u want to win, u should), but at least every couple of days. That way we can do trades, and waiver pickups etc.

RULES

-The league has only 12 spots(that way hopefully every1 can stick around)

-It will be an online draft(if u cant make it, do your predraft rankings).

-Rotisserie scoring

-Trades get voted on (by everyone, to be fair)

-You have 1PG, 1SG, 1SF, 1PF, 1 C, 5 Utility Players, and 3 bench spots.
