I am a packers fan (patriots also), but I kind of hate ted thompson. First he didn't have the guts to trade a 4th rounder for Moss (though happy the patriots cashed) and numerous other non moves. Then he decides to grow an ego in time to cut loose a legend coming off an NFC championship game and season. Right now the Packers have a younger QB, but seem to be in the middle of a rebuilding.

I'm rooting for Peterson to get more fantasy points than Ryan Grant.  Or, really, I need Peterson, the Packers defense, and Ryan Longwell to score one more point than Grant.

Other than that, I'd like to see them both somehow lose.
A long exhausting OT game with lots of injuries is what I want to see in these situations.

Personally I'd have liked the Vikings to get a loss. I think they'll be the competition with the Bears for the Division, not the Pack.

Sadly neither of my hopes came true  :'(.

Well as one of the most public on here about my dislike of Brett Favre, I have to say he did pretty well last night. I was impressed with some of the throws he made.
CB Draft LA Lakers: Lamarcus Aldridge, Carmelo Anthony,Jrue Holiday, Wes Matthews  6.11, 7.16, 8.14, 8.15, 9.16, 11.5, 11.16

I really want to see this Vikings team take on the likes of the NFC big boys like the Giants, Saints, or even Bears.

I'm not sold on that team yet.  I have a lingering suspicion that they're not in the same class as some of these other NFC squads.

I'd put the Bears out of that for now, even though I love them.

Our running game is still too shaky. I'm loving what our d-line has been doing though.

Well of course. It was a game that didn't matter that much.

I want to see Brett do the Lambeu leap and get thrown back

The Bears are definitely a questionable call but I think they could cause some havoc for Favre & the Vikings. The NFC Cental won't be a cakewalk for the Vikings.  I also think that once the Bears get a clue to use Forte more and rely less on Cutler, they'll realize they have a pretty solid and balanced offense.  Bears have potential to be upper eschelon NFC.

Forte has had 87 total touches, rushing attempts plus targets. Adrian Peterson (Min) has had 92 total touches.

I think Forte has had his number called plenty, the problem is with the blocking and his own running. He's looked a lot better the last two weeks so hopefully its coming together.

Where is the overratd talk???? I thought this guy was dirt and all he does is toss picks?
I know it's a long season but I have to say that so far he silenced the people who thought he couldn't carry the viks when ap was bottled up. This is why he is one of the greatest to play ints or not.

The season's young.  Let's not forget the hot start he had for the Jets last year and where that season finished up.  (22 INTs to go with 22 TDs).  He also has a guy by the name of Adrian Peterson that's helping him out big time right now.

Beating Green Bay is a good win.  However, beating the Browns and Lions doesn't do much for me.  He's got Ravens & Steelers back to back in a few weeks.  Let's see how he does against those powerhouses.

I'll admit I'm wrong about Favre if necessary but not until we're well past Week 4.  Still a long way to go.

Agreed, so far he is playing within himself and doing well. But its only a matter of time before he trys to take over games, forces passes and costs the team some games.

Yup, he's thrown awful picks to end his team's season the last three times he's been in the playoffs. Two of those directly lead to the winning FG in OT for the other team, in the other the Vikings blew them out.

In 2007, in 2004, and 2003.

Thats why I stated this above. But AP hasn't done much the last two games so I think he's doing a little more than you think.

Ha ha. That could be an issue Ill admit. But lets also remember that great protoge BB known as Mangenius. He sucks as a coach and was part of the reason they melted down last year. He needs to go back to working the video room
