On paper they are good but there is only one ball. A.I. Rudy Gay, O.J. Mayo, Mike conley, and Zach Randolph. Really guys really?

Way, way too many personalities and egos.  Iverson, Randolph, and Mayo?  Plus you've got a talented guy like Gay competing for shots?

32 wins.

Im thinking you got

PG:Mayo
SG:AI
SF:Gay
PF:Randolph
C:Gasol

They are definitly a talented team, whether or not they can figure it out is in question.  And absolutely no defense.

As Billy Simmons would say, when betting on the Grizz take the over.  They'll score, but their defense will probably be among the three or four worst in the league.  In a fantasy league, they might be OK but not a chance in hell IRL that they make the playoffs.

As many people have said, record for lowest team assists ever.

I'd hate to face these guys in a pick up game.
But an NBA game?  Over-rated and over-the-hill.  I wish them the best of luck.  They're sure going to need it.

If NBA Jam came out with a new 2010 version, I would definitely pick them as one of my teams.  Other than that, I echo what most people think: lots of scoring, not many wins.

Have we ever seen teammates try to block each others' shots?

I don't know about blocking their own shots necessarily, but, I could see them fighting to intercept a teamates pass (if it ever happens) so they can get a shot.  ;D

I am looking forward to the defense.

Can you see it?

Randolph is at half court argueing with the refs.

Meanwhile, AI is jumping into the passing lanes once again leaving his man open.

Mayo is lost.

With three men open, easy bucket.

LOVE Zach Randolph - I can't get enough of this clip!

As a buddy of mine pointed out, there were still six seconds on the shot clock, in a three point game, when he let that "shot" off....    8)

Are they doing one of those free practice look-ins for the Grizzlies?  Is there any doubt at all that this whole experiment is going to end horribly?

  • TRANSFORMATION INTO CHAMPION COMPLETE!!!
A lot of potential, but I agree with everyone else, it will never come to fruition. I see Iverson getting bought out/traded.

I am stoked for the season opener. If only they were as good as the Fake Grizzlies.
