He'll cut you so bad, you'll wish he hadn't cut you so bad.

KG said Rondo was angry he missed a jumper.. What else is new there? I thought he was supposed to look sharp, Kevin... Talkin bout missed jumpers doesnt vouch for that.

Also says Lester looks good.. For KG to bring his name up says enough by itself. He's a no nonsense guy.

Funny how Tony is suddenly up and running on day 2. Did Danny say something to him?

KG is the consumate teammate. He often compliments his fellows, but never without reason. I dont want to get worked up about him recognizing Hudson, but the fact is he just doesnt do that without feeling it. The fact that he is showing Rondo love also tells me he is hungry and just watching Rondo, seeing his improvement and the addition of the new guys that also look good, has a fire burning in KG's belly.

This is going to be a very intense training camp IMO, KG will see to it. Hope Hudson is ready for it, he will never know what hit him if KG cuts loose.

Yup. Couldn't agree more. Can't wait till we get to see the live stream of camp. It'll be very interesting to see how involved KG is and what Hudson, Rondo, and Giddens are doing well.

  • Rondo = Good
Hudson being mentioned is important.  I haven't even really heard Walker and Giddens mentioned by any of the other players, so for KG to single out Lester's play, that's telling (hopefully).

If Billy Walker really is out, I think it's Hudson who could gain more than Giddens.

TA still day-to-day, Walker out, a chance for Giddens, if now he doesn't prove himself, he doesn't deserve the spot

I think your missing the point. The big thing is that he runs down the floor, pulls up, and EXPECTS for it to go in now. That's huge for a guy who was once so noticably unconfident.

I don't think he's signaling out his play. I think KG was just signaling out guys who are in great shape and "look good" - Rondo, Ray, Hudson. All 3 of them probably have a body fat % of <5. Of course, the inclusion of Big Baby is relative to his shape last year and he just through Sheed in there cause that's his buddy.

With Walker out. Daniels will see more time at SF which could open up time for Hudson at PG. This would be a small second lineup but Hudson, House/TA, Daniels, BBD, Sheed would be fun to watch.

Sounded like Doc was running KG, Sheed and Perk with the first unit (not at the same time). My concern is that unless TA or Giddens can play positive minutes, Pierce will not get rest. Ray is not effective at SF and Scal is not the answer. Even Daniels is not at his best at SF. His efficiency ratings are better at SG.
