LOL found this on the Orlando Realgm board. Just makes me mad cause they think they did something beating the Celtics without KG. Congrats you guys got to the finals and won 2nd place... Great!... They were just bad mouthing KG saying i cant wait for KG to be in a suit pointing yeah and thats the reason you won because he was in a suit! But this year will be much different my south Florida Haters, The Celtics will strike down with great vengeance upon thee! lol I hate the magic!!!

Practice hasn't even officially started yet and the Orlando Magic are already feeling disrespected.

Even though the Magic are the defending Eastern Conference champions, it seems nobody is picking them to return to the Finals this year.

In fact, it was during their Finals matchup with the Lakers when Boston Celtics star Paul Pierce tweeted to his followers, "Looked like a German shepherd vs. a poodle. That’s OK the Rottweiler Celtics will be back in 2010."

Magic forward Rashard Lewis, during the team's Media Day Monday, took umbrage with Pierce's Twitter remark and went after Pierce not like a poodle but like a pitbull.

When a reporter brought up the Orlando Poodles comment made by Pierce, Lewis emphasized the fact that Pierce made his remark on Twitter. And you know what that means?

It means, Lewis said, Pierce was "at home" tweeting while the Magic were playing for the NBA championship.

Excellent point.

Lewis, Dwight Howard and the rest of the Magic start training camp today with the same chip on their shoulders that has fuelled them in the past.

Said Magic point guard Jameer Nelson: "Nobody believes in us, but we believe in ourselves."

I'm not gonna lie.  I actually chuckled at Lewis' comment.  Pretty decent comeback.

I have no problem with trash-talking.  We probably root for the big trash-talking team in the league so when another team doesn't it, its tough to get riled up

The thing that gets me the most is how the Magic fans have something to be proud about saying pierce is fat and blah blah blah.. You won 2nd PLACE! Great for you!!!

I find it funny that the Magic players are still shocked and always feel disrespected. It may be time to move on. Prove your worth on the court and stop whining in the media about it...

As for Rashard's comment I found it well replied!

I think of them as a slightly more legit chargers team. They talk all the time, and have great talent, but never do anything with all that talent when they have a chance to win the big one.
