He said most of them have been playing for weeks together now, and then I asked him if that included KG playing FULL COURT and he said without hesitation: "Oh yeah, oh yeah."

There was not an ounce of doubt in his voice or on his face.  So take it for what it's worth.

Some other interesting tidbits:

-Said Lester Hudson is already signed (said this after I told him he should play backup PG to Rondo for 5-10 MPG)

-Said they made the mistake of letting KG dictate his injury last year, meaning when he was coming back, IF he was coming back, etc.

-Said they all felt like they had run out of gas by the end of the orlando series (after I told them how they almost made it to the ECF without KG)

-Said the blessing of having no KG in the playoffs was how it allowed Rondo to because a star player (and BBD to a lesser extent)

-Said that Ainge said last year that chemistry was overrated and how Colangelo taught him that in Phoenix (JoJo STRONGLY disagreed with Ainge's opinion on that)

Always a good time talking to JoJo

Thanks for the update.  That's encouraging news on KG, although the "playing full court for weeks" report seems to go against what the team, and the players, have been saying publicly.  If that's true, it's fantastic.

As for Hudson, was the "he's already signed" thing literal?  Again, that's publicly contrary to what the team -- and Hudson -- are saying publicly.

Jojo seems like a great guy. I feel like in the past 10 years I have seen so many people share their Jojo White stories. It's a lock to happen once every 3-4 months.

And Ainge might be onto something about chemistry...I am pretty sure the Lakers hated each other last year. That would conflict with the brain doctor hiring, though.

I just gave everybody TP's because we are finally getting the new season started tomorrow.

I love JoJo and I hope that he is not just being the super optimistic guy that he is.  If what he says is taken completely literal, we should all be sleeping more soundly tonight.  Great post.

Yeah, TP for you too! Great to hear some really good news about the C's and KG's health. Hopefully we will have a confirmation tomorrow that all JoJo told MrTripleDouble10 is true! I'm really excited.

JoJo's a really nice guy.. He kinda seems like Santa Claus to me. Meaning that he always finds time to talk to every Celtic fan at every charity or team event. Last time I met him he complimented my hat and we talked about how nice it was to finally see another championship for a few minutes.

PP said on comcast sports net friday night that KG had been playing full court scrimmages.

Yeah, I think the part that is in question is, "for weeks".

Yeah, I think the part that is in question is, "for weeks".

He said to me that most of the players have been back and playing for weeks.  I asked him point blank if that included KG, playing full court with them and that's when he replied "Oh yeah, oh yeah."

I was surprised also at this news along with the Hudson signing, but he said it's a done deal.  I asked him a couple of times and he said yes confidently.  Sorry, didn't get into details of how many years, if it was guaranteed, etc.  My guess is it's one of those non-guaranteed deals for training camp... for now.

actually that would make the most sense - I'm not sure his agent would let him play without at least a non-guaranteed contract
