My Bold Prediction this season is that the Denver Nuggets and the Boston Celtics will meet in the NBA finals. I really think this season the Nuggets are going to step up and win with Chauncey and has a year under is belt i really think they are going to be a force to reckon with. Also of course our Celtics will make it because we are just going to be sick wicked and nasty! Also Celtics take it in 7!

Much as I truly HATE to say it, I think the Lakers will end up playing the Celts for the O'Brien trophy, and the difference will be that KG will be healthy and Gasol will once again be neutralized, with the Truth shutting down Kobe as usual. I DO agree that Denver is on the way up and certainly a deep playoff team, but until they prove otherwise, they're still far too inconsistent to get my vote. I also LOVE rubbing the Lakers' nose in defeat in front of the world ... nothing more sweet than that!!

Is George Karl still the coach?  ;D

If there is any other team other than the Fakers coming out of the west, it will be San Antonio.

Boston wins 64 games and Cleveland 60. I agree with the "Orlando struggles at times" theory.

My bold prediction: We will never see an end to the "Bring back 'Toine" threads! (A direct result of never bringing him back).

I'm thinking the Spurs, actually. Denver doesn't have enough to beat LA, I don't think. If the Spurs are healthy they're probably right there with LA.

I dont have a problem seeing Denver in the finals, or for that matter, the Spurs. I would have to say though that the Lakers look like the favorites right now. I like our chances against anyone, if we are healthy, but I wouldnt count out Cleveland. Shaq may be old but he is still hard to move and I expect them to make a significant move during the season.

As far as bold predictions go, Rondo is an All Star and shows the league why in the playoffs. He will dominate the playoffs even more then he did last year with scoring in the mid 20's for the entire playoffs. How's that for bold?

I know xmuscularghandix made his Big Four mix with Rasheed, but I think the real Big Four is Ray, Pierce, KG and Rondo. If he comes in with even a slightly improved jumpshot he's going to be impossible to guard... it's still amazing to me how underrated Rondo is. There are only like one or two PG's in the league that could have 15+ assists games and 10+ boards on a fairly regular basis and Rajon is one of them.

Mid-20's might be a little high, but I do think Rondo is going to take us a long way this season.

I don't care whether it's the Lakers, Spurs or Nuggets in the Finals as long as the Celtics are the ones on the other end of the court.
