This works on RealGM:

http://www.realgm.com/src_tradechecker/3/

Why for us?  We get a veteran lock down defender that is very accurate from long range to compliment Daniels lack of 3-pt. range.

We might ask for a future 2nd rounder to make this fair, as we would only have Bell for one year and they would be getting a tryout for TA and a young possible stud in Billy.

I answered the why for Charlotte in the last part of the above sentence.

Thoughts????????????

Charlotte laughs at this basketball-wise, and since Bell's contract is expiring, it doesn't save them any money either.

Wouldn't mind, Charlotte would though.

The most realistic option is probably Nocioni at the deadline, especially if Marquis doesnt work out. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for that trade.

Scal is as valuable to us as Bell ever would be.  Unless Danny sees no upside in Walker I see no reason to do this at all.

We might be able to get Stephen Jackson for such a package. Stephen Jackson is still a very good player. Big and can shoot.

Such a trade will seem laughable by year's end.  Billy's a player who's probably in the rotation this year and is only going to get better.

Look at the Gasol and Jefferson trades. Both of those trades were something for nothing.

Especially with the the way Jackson wants out and G.S. doesnt much care for him either. I'd do it. Gives G.S. some needed cap room and a prospect in Walker. I think they'd do this in a heart beat to get Jackson off their chest. I dont know how it would work out with Perk, KG, Wallace, House, Daniels, and Jackson  :o   Think we were the biggest trash talking team last year...my oh my.

I think it's laughable the other way. Bell simply isn't very good anymore -- he's lost a step and a half on both ends of the court. Two servicible players and a kid who is just scratching the surface of his potential for one one servicible player. pass.

I completely disagree that Ainge would consider taking on Jackson and his THREE years left.  I would likely mean that Ray Ray will NOT be back next year though.

Here is how it can work:

I couldn't open the realgm link, but i think Jackson would be a good fit on this squad.

I'd consider it. Scal and TA are both hot garbage. Who cares of they get traded?

And Walker, look I know we all love him and his potential, but he was also hot garbage in the summer league, didn't even look like he cared whatsoever. At least Giddens looked like he was trying. I am not willing to depend on a guy who couldn't even care enough to maximize his potential in the summer league. Is he good for that? Really now.
