Read on boston.com today that both Welker AND Moss are questionable for Sunday.  Yikes.  I am hoping this is a little bit of old school Belichek messing with the opposing team's heads, but still... worrisome.

Welker practiced on Friday so there is a good chance he plays (although I read it would be a gametime decision).

I think Moss will play.

This is going to be a tough game, Tony Gonzalez seems to always do well against us (he kills us on 3rd downs). Ryan has been impressive.  The Falcons can run the ball well.  That being said, we should have some opportunities against their secondary, so hopefully Brady regains the accuracy.

The best way to neutralize Ryan is to keep Atlanta's offense off the field.  The Patriots need to develop a consistent running attack.  If they don't, they will continue to lose against good teams.

I don't blame Brady for being so angry ... his offense is failing to execute even the most basic of adjustments ... the receivers are not running the correct patterns, (including Moss), and the offensive line is failing to pick up basic defensive changes ... just proves that no matter how great a quarterback is, he won't function well if you don't give him time in the pocket or the players around him don't LISTEN to his audibles! (Everyone thinks Manning is so amazing, but I've said for years that the majority of his success has been attributable to his excellent offensive line and the amount of time he gets to throw the ball). Pats: WAKE UP!! (I'd love to be a fly on the wall in that locker room right now, lol!)

The two passes at the end of the quarter he had every right to be upset about, but he has been off a lot himself.

Hard to be "on" as a QB when you're not getting appropriate time to throw the ball, but Brady certainly hasn't been himself so far, (which is frankly a bit expected after last year).

True, I also think that Fred Taylor has locked himself into #1 running back status. I think Randy Moss has been the best Patriot so far this season, he has made some terrific plays.

Yeah ... totally agree ... Moss has bailed them out many times ... and just did again! (TP)

Thomas is definitley one of the defensive keys this year ... he's GOT to start playing up to his expectation level ... VERY talented guy, who has been a bit of a disappointment so far.

Defense overall has stepped up today especially with Wilfork out. There is no excuse for Edelman's drop just now, he has to make that catch.

Safe to say, I think, that Moss has finally matured into the player and leader he should have long ago. The system at New England and the "team-first" priority, (as well as Tom and Bill), have done the trick! (Crosses fingers again)
