Just wanted to see what people thought of this series. I had seen it before, but just rewatched it in Blu ray.

I think it's amazing, some people complain that it is tough to follow because it doesn't have a traditional main character, and that it's "heavy" with no real relief but i think that makes it even better, as you follow the story of the companies actions in the war effort rather than individual soldiers stories. (although i would argue that there are 4-5 "main" E company men)

Just an amazing series, i think everyone should be required to watch it, to remember the greatest generation's sacrifices.

I am not ashamed to say that as i watched it, particularly the actual soldiers stories at the beginning of episodes, i caught myself wondering if i had the capacity to put myself through what those and brave men did for our freedom.

Not to go all political in a TV thread, but thank you to every veteran, past and present, for your service.

I can't imagine anyone who would complain about this series.

I loved it also. And, I don't see it as 'political' to be grateful to our veterans. Liberals and conservatives alike recognize the importance of our military and praise our troops.

I thought the B of B series was well written, well acted, and told a true story of heroism so effectively that I was left in complete awe of what these young men did.

I loved it when they showed it on HBO and bought it as soon as it came out on regular DVDs. I still watch it a few episodes every 6 months or so.

Great mini-series, strange that the book really sucked.

That was a great series.  We got HBO just so we could see it.
If you enjoyed Band of Brothers you'll be happy to know HBO has
another mini-series coming in March 2010; The Pacific.  It's from the same producers as Band of Brothers.
