I guess I'm in the minority, but I don't see Bogans as a difference maker. He's decent depth, but I doubt he sees a lot of minutes.
one could argue it was unclear what kind of impact bowen would have when the spurs signed him, and we know how that turned out.
i think the most important point in the article is about the competition created in their training camp, and the resulting depth that's likely to ensue. the spurs will have injuries, just like the celtics will. money seems to be the only thing standing in the way of signing the bogans' and pavlovic's of the world in an effort to push our unproven young players. right now on the wing, it's marquis daniels (hardly the beacon of health) or bust. i think that's a shame.
bogans can shoot and defend without turning the ball over. i'd like that in our 4th wing.
