Being able to carry three guns while riding a motorcycle is pretty impressive.  Was he trying out to be the next punisher or was he on his way go see Marice Clarette in prison?

He has got a lot more than hot sauce in his bag.

It reminded me of Terminator 2 when Arnold was hiding his shotgun in the box of roses when he was walking around in the mall looking for john conor....hold on a minute, arnold also carried his shotgun on his motorcycle.....Maybe Delonte is just a BIG Arnold fan?!

Regardless of whether the guns were legal or not, this is at best, a very bad sign for the way West is handling himself.  I am sorry, but I can't think of any reason to be carrying 2 handguns and a shotgun, loaded on your motorcycle.

I was waiting for this. TP4U Edgar for sticking by your boy.

I for one am anxious to hear from Delonte as to why he was all Rambo-ed out and am going to give my man the benefit of the doubt until I do hear from him or until he's found guilty. And even if he is found guilty, if I hear D has been getting death threats and was trying to protect himself, I'll say that's cool. Go Rambo. I would if I thought there was a very real and credible threat to my person or my family.

There really is no excuse for it.   If you are getting death threats why are you driving around in a bike like that.   That bike is flashing.  If Delonte is having problems with people then only go places where he feels safe.  If he felt he needed protection through where he was going, he should not be going through there, plain and simple.  This isn't a regular guy having street problems sticking up for himself and hustling to make ends meet.  This is a man with a million dollar contract.  There is no excuse for what happened.

Deltone West does not live in third world country status.  He has a million dollar contract.   For people who live in thrid wolrd countries, poverty, or are regular people with regular salaries it is more understandable because they may have been put in a very difficult situation.   Delonte does not have those problems.  He has a million dollar contract, he has many more options than going through a place that is not safe for him.

Being safe has nothing to do with helping out your friends.   If you are a million dollar athlete and you have problems in a certain area you stay out of there because you have the money to do so.  If you want to help out your friends you can send them checks and send them gifts, or they can go out of the place that isn't safe and meet you where it is safe.   If the people don't have cars and he wants to see family members he can pay for them to take a cab out of an unsafe neighborhood.   No person is "stuck" in a certain area when you have a friend that is a million dollar athlete. 

If Delonte has problems in that area past present or future, being the fact he is an established 5 year NBA player there is even more of a chance he may run into trouble now that people know who he is.  So that is even more of a reason why he should not be around those places.   If your personal safety is at risk and you are a million dollar athlete you stay out of there, that is the price you pay for being a known pro athlete.

if the guns are registered, a slap on the wrist, nothing more. Even if they make him do jail time it's not going to be significant enough to make him miss any major time.  If this were the NFL it may be different, but I mean think about all the other players in the NBA that have been caught with guns and ahve done far worse.  Wasnt Steven Jackson firing shots at someone outside of a stripclub once?  Did the NBA even take any action against him for that?

Anything is possible in the NBA world, it surprises every time. We have the Eddy Curry thing with his driver, the Qyntel Woods cruelty and insanity, the Eddie Griffin action while driving his car, Dennis Rodman in that garage, Kobe Bryant suspected from rape, Isiah Thomas and that woman, Dirk Nowitzki's wife, Jason Kidd beating his wife, Jason Richardson dangerous driving with his kid in his car... it's amazing and incredibly sad to read about this things...

As for DWest...he's got some problems and I hope he gets some help
