"Sasha Pavlovic, recently waived by the Suns, has agreed to sign with the Timberwolves on a one-year, $1.5 million contract.

The Knicks also expressed interest in Pavlovic."

Not surprised, chatter said there were at least three teams interested in him.

15th spot = Lester Hudson  (I hope).
Why?
I presume because we can imagine wonderful things like we did with Orien Greene.

That's pretty much spot on.

How do we know that he'll be more productive than Hudson? Lester brings alot of things to the table... he is literally good in every part of the game. Plus he plays a position that we need filled.
It's only my guess that he'd be more productive than Hudson.  I just can't see a guy who was picked that late being able to jump into the rotation on a championship team like ours.

As I said before, it makes sense to forget the idea of bringing in a PG because apparently Danny wants to give those minutes to House and Daniels.  If we're only gonna see one more guy in the rotation, I'd rather it be a guy who's long enough to handle the 3 position, and can shoot.  At this point it looks like Bill Walker, but if it meant giving up Hudson in order to replace Walker with a guy like Pavlovic, I'd be happy with it.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

Sasha Pavlovic is a very underrated player on this board. Please don't judge him based on his production the past 2 years, it's a result of nagging injuries and being in the doghouse which really affected his confidence. When the Cavaliers made it to the finals a few years ago, he was one of their best players and he played more then adequate defence. He showed flashes of his old self in last years playoffs so I know he's still got the skill from a few years, it's just a matter of confidence and getting his swagger back. Whoever says that his only skill is shooting the 3 is dead wrong. He is probably one of the better finishers in the league(amongst backups) when he is slashing to the basket. I am willing to go as far as saying that he would have been a better fit on this team then Marquis Daniels(assuming we had someone as a backup pg).

We don't actually "know" that KG will be more productive than Williams. But we have good reason to believe so.

Hudson has yet to show he can contribute in the NBA and workouts with teams clearly did not impress since he was drafted in a spot that rarely produces NBA contributors coming out of college.

I hope Hudson works surprises because he will be part of our training camp. But he is FAR less likely to be able to contribute anything to the team over the course of the season than Pavlovic would have.

Hudson plays the 2. This is not a position of need. We are hoping he can play the 1. We could use a backup 3 with some size more than a small backup 2.

Just saw on Real GM that Pavlovic has agreed to a one year deal with the Wolves.

What should we judge him by?

It's not like anyone can guarantee he won't have nagging injuries, and if he were on our squad, Doc definitely won't be playing him 30 minutes every night to help his confidence.
