What a catch and game by Watson, i know alot of people wanted to cut him but the main reason his production has gone down is because of Moss and Welker. I know he drops some passes but Watson received for 643 yards the last year before those two got here. He is also a very good blocker, im quite glad they kept him lol.

Meriweather is the man too, me and Rondo have been hyping him all preseason and he just saved the game, for now. The defense can't blow this here, if they do i will be unhappy. I would feel much better if Mayo was out there lol.

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
A very ugly 1-0

Wow, I'll take it, as a Pats fan.  Things I like: Brady looking like the Brady I know and love in the 4th quarter.  Things I don't like: injury to Mayo; the Pats defense sucking.
Celtics fan for life.

Gotta fix our defense somehow.

Can't rely on special teams to force fumbles during crunch time to get us back in the game.

Pats need Mayo back, he is a monster against the run, on screens, and on those underneath passes which is what the Bills killed the Pats with. They only allowed 4 yards a rush to the Bills RB's and defended TO and Evans well. Can't really describe how much they need Mayo to be healthy or else teams will do like the Bills tonight and do alot of those underneath routes and screens to expose the LB's in coverage.

Brady stills got it, 12/14 on the last two drives. They better play better next week though, Jets are a solid team and well coached unlike the Bills.

Brady's game reminded me of Mannings last year early. Still very good, but a little off on a lot of his location and timing throws. Hopefully his knee responds well to the strain of playing.

If it does, he'll be fine by game 5 and back to his old self.

Not only the defense, but the O line needs to open up some running space for the backs. The run was yet again awful.

When it comes to the running game its pretty simple, the line needs to block better. Whenever they opened up holes Maroney and Taylor found and attacked them, but there was atleast a handful of occasions where the line let defenders into the backfield which very few RB's can do anything about.

I can't wait for the day we don't have to see Matt Light at LT anymore. Id love to see them get a LT in the draft next season and move Light to RT where i think he could be great.
