Never seen him play, but I know alot of people like his game.

He's got some massive hops.

Reminds me a bit of Rondo from that highlight package.

There is a rondo similarity...
But everybody looks good in the highlight reel.

I like Taylor and think he should stick around in the NBA ... but he's way too raw for a team like the Celtics. He'd be a waste of a roster spot for the time being.

honestly he reminds me alot of Nate Robinson.. He doesn't seem to have alot of pg skills so far, but his insane athleticism makes him an intriguing prospect.

Yes, but again, hard to see him playing a role on the Cs this year or next.
Celtics fan for life.

Link, please.

PS: I really like him but... a) he's got some baggage and b) we have basicaly the same style AND some D in Lester Hudson.

ooo Please bring him in he would be an awesome fit here! Defiantly win the backup role with us! Would love him here in Boston had some really really big games with the Clippers. We should bring him into camp!

But he's a young player, who didn't play much. If he has enough good highlights for someone to make a highlight reel, then that must mean he's good. I've seen highlights and he's definitely a good talent. I'd love to have him.

I don't think Hudson has a similar style.

Taylor sure looks fast, but with the kinds of shots he takes, it isn't surprising he shot 41%. Those floaters look good when they fall, so highlights are decieving. 1.6:1.2 is poor, especially for a PG with such a low shooting percentage.

Taylor is also 2 years younger.

for those who are interested enough to find out more...

his stats at ISU, D-league, nba...nice but nothing eye popping.
http://www.draftexpress.com/profile/Mike-Taylor-5211/stats/

some info on his "character" and the 3 arrests. mostly knucklehead stuff and he did not learn from his mistakes it seemed.
http://sports.espn.go.com/ncb/news/story?id=2942428

and by the way, he is 6' 2" and 23 years old.

if ainge wants to bring him to camp i wouldnt mind, but i doubt he will make the team. lester seems to bring more to the team based on college stats.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Mike Taylor is much better than Lester Hudson.  Are you kidding?
