From his second year to last year he looks like he got a little bigger in the upper body, and this year he looks a little bigger again. Love Rondo cant wait for Media day/Training camp! Its almost here folks!

I feel like I've read reports/rumors (probably here on the blog) that Rondo has been shooting like 500 jumpers a day. I hope so. He took a nice step forward in the playoffs last year. If he can add a more reliable jumper this season, Rondo will be wicked good.

You from Maine? Everytime I leave the state and say "wicked" I get some funny looks.

I hope that's true about the jump shots though. Wish we would work more closely with Ray.

I hope he's shooting more than that coupled with instruction on his form.  I can get up 100 jump shots and 100 FTs in less than 30 minutes.  A professional athlete ought to be spending more than 2 1/2 hours working on their weaknesses every day.

I can get about 1,000 up in an hour and 15 maybe a little longer. He should be shooting atleast 2,000 jumpers a day.

Yeah, he should be making at least 1000 a day, no matter how many he takes.

So you guys take a shot every 9 or in the second case every 4.5 seconds?
You got someone hired to constantly rebound and pass the ball back to you?

Just curious, cause i know i don't spend my time on a basketball court like that...

I don't know if they do, but Rondo sure does.

that's actually what I thought at first.. Kind of looks like Glen Davis last year. I know Southern food if good, but i hope he hasn't been hitting Momma's home snack bar too much in Kentucky.

Probably just the angle of the the photo or something, though.

Rondo will be highly motivated this season. He must be thinking of all that what was said about him in the summer, plus he's also fighting for a new contract. I can't wait to see him play again!

I thought that at first too, but I don't think he'll show up to camp looking like that.

I remember hearing stories about Brandon Roy last offseason.  He said that he spent a lot of the summer lifting weights and packed on muscle, building strength.  Then, in the last month or so, he ran his butt off and dropped the added weight but kept the strength.

Anyway, it's possible - likely, even - that Rondo is doing the same.  If that's the case, then all the better.  If he does look like that at the start of the season, though, then I agree that it may be something to worry about.  The most important physical part of his game is his speed, and I don't think that will ever change.  Anything that hampers that is probably a bad idea.
