I don't know much about his game, but all I know is he's an excellent defender and he has very good size for a pg(6'4). Is he any better than Lester Hudson or Gabe Pruitt? Would he be worth bringing in?

Good enough to be on Jeff's training camp all-star team.

I havn't seen how much he has improved since Duke, but his issue at Duke was that he couldn't run the point.  He was an undersized wing there.  If his ball handling and passing has improved enough I'd be open to giving him a shot.
do it

Athletic can jump for his size, not a good ball handler, cant shoot Free Throws, Decent from three (at least at college he was), and plays D when he wants to. I saw a lot of Demarcus when he was at Duke one of my favorite players until his senior year when he just didn't seem to develop his game all the way. Seems like he has now and I always love to see one of my Dukies in Boston!

The real question for a guy like him is this: "do we have a roster spot for him?"

I like the guy, but is he really any better than Lester Hudson? Is he better than Gabe Pruitt? He was unable to stick with the other teams, so was he not better than their 3rd string guards?

Worth a camp invite for sure though.

DeMarcus Nelson = Orien Greene?

I don't think Nelson is good enough at this stage in his career to be in the NBA. He's an interesting guy to keep tabs on though ... because of his defensive ability.
