ok, so we're all bored

here's a challenge for you

come up with a trade that is worse than this

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=lz8zl5

Net impact on team wins: -33

can you beat that?  how many fewer wins can you get by trading our players?

creative responses get extra credit

You were thinking small time, Jeff. Anyone knows any truly terrible, terrible trade must involve both Eddy Curry AND Z-Bo

Boom!

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=njrl7q

KG, Rondo, Perk, Eddie, and Walker for

Zach Randolph, Marko Jaric, Steven Hunter

-42 wins, and only involving 2 teams.  But yeah, Zach had to be involved somehow.

What, you think you're better than me? Huh tough guy?  :)

If only Jerome James was still on the Knicks...then it would all be so easy....

I was putting it together when you posted.  Chalk it up to great minds think alike, except one great mind was too lazy to incorporate additional teams, and accidentally got rewarded for it because Memphis is a black hole of suck.

Seriously, I love that my team kept Pierce and Ray, but Memphis' guys are so bad it didn't matter.

If only i could find a way of getting the contracts of Zach Randolph, Eddy Curry, Jared Jefferies, Stephon Marbury, Jerome James, and Jamal Crawford. I just don't know how Isiah Thomas does it. Guy's a genius.

Ok, I outdid it - someone may top this in wins, but I don't think anyone could beat it for pure suckage:

Houston gets:
Paul Pierce
Eddie House

Lakers get:
Ray Allen

Memphis gets:
Kevin Garnett
Rajon Rondo
Kendrick Perkins

Boston gets:
Zach Randolph
Marko Jaric
Tracy McGrady
Luke Walton
Sasha Vujacic
Adam Morrison
DJ Mbenga

Change in wins -53.  Top it!

PS mgent you have to save the trade and post that link - your link goes to the default trade machine page.

Ok, last one and I'm done:

Lakers get:
Kevin Garnett
Rajon Rondo

Grizzlies get:
Ray Allen
Perk

Knicks get:
Pierce
House

Celtics get:
Vujacic
Walton
Morrison
Mbenga
Randolph
Jaric
Larry Hughes
Cat Mobley's contract

Net: -57 wins.  We're down to a 5 win season, let's see who can get it to negative.

i started to put together an all-bad-and-overpaid-bigs trade involving blount, dampier, brian cardinal, dan gadzuric, kwame brown, isiah's boys jerome james, eddie curry and jared jeffries, mark madsen, darko and (my personal favorite loser) jermaine o'neal coming to the Cs for pretty much everyone, but before the espn trade machine ran out of room for teams in a single trade, i spontaniously passed out and hit my head so hard on the keyboard that the word "KJHGFD" engraved in my forhead like rick james' UNITY ring did to charlie murphy.
