ESPN never fails to impress me with their lack of Bball IQ.
All the big names are on both lists for the most part.

I wouldn't worry about it. If they'd done the same list before the 2007-2008 season we'd have seen Ray/KG on both lists too!

Is it just me or in that picture posted at ESPN showing Zach Randolph, does he look like he could be Antoine Walker's fat little brother?

(1) Jamal Crawford -- will have a negative impact
(2) Zach Randolph -- most likely a non-impact

The next two I'm just unsure about how much of an impact they'll have:

(3) Shaquille O'Neal
(4) Rasheed Wallace

Most likely a positive impact, but a possibility for a negative impact

(5) Ron Artest

A few overpaid guys (Villanueva, Gordon) could make this list also.

I thought the exact same thing when I saw that (except for the "fatter" part.  Antoine isn't so svelte himself anymore).

Well, I think they hit it on the head with their comments about why he could be the best: even if everything goes wrong with Wallace (he deteriorates more, he whines about minutes, he gets a ton of Ts), he's still going to be an upgrade over Mikki Moore.  And given the fact that I think that last year's team could've won it all with Mikki Moore (had KG been healthy), it's still an upgrade even if everything goes wrong.

And I don't think the worst case happens.  I think the best case is that he's rejuvenated and makes it so that when Perk or KG go to the bench, the C's still have two elite big men on the floor.  I think that even if he does slip some, he can still be what Rodney Rogers was to us in 2001 and at least help spread the floor for Pierce and Rondo to penetrate.

In scrolling through the posts, I thought it was Antoine, until I read your post and looked a little harder. That's pretty hilarious..whoops, still love you Antoine!

The Sheed pickup is going to be great! All he needs to do is match PJ Brown's productivity, and give a little Posey-like floor spreading. I think he can handle that.

A primary rotation of KG, Sheed and Perk is going to frustrate opponents to no end. The paint is gonna get a lot smaller.
