I'd like to see us play the spurs--because I'm pretty sure we'll beat the Spurs. Plus, I want the Lakers to do as terribly as possible--if they get booted before the Finals that's great in my book.
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

I really respect the Spurs, so I'd love to see that matchup.  Although, really, I'd love to see it be some terrible team that just goes on a miraculous run in the West, but runs out of gas in the Finals. ;)

Sheed joins the Celtics only to comeback to Portland and destroy their magicical season?

I chose the Spurs. That final match up would be one for the ages. Two of the best power forwards of all time going at it. Would be beautiful basketball to watch. Although, giving the Lakers another whooping and shutting up the critics would also be nice. I wouldn't mind seeing either match up. But I'd much rather see a Spurs vs Celtics finals.
PHX Suns: Russell Westbrook, Chris Bosh, Tristan Thompson, Trevor Ariza, Tony Allen, Trey Lyles, Corey Brewer, Larry Nance Jr., Trey Burke, Troy Daniels, Joffrey Lauvergne, Justin Holiday, Mike Muscala, 14.6

I chose the Lakers because I think the Spurs beat us.

Why am I only one that didn't vote for an elite team?
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

I'm not sure why several people picked a particular team based on a feeling that the team was beatable.  Why?  I'd rather have the C's play the best team from the West so that when the C's win (not if), there's no doubt the C's were the best team in the league.  None of that "well, it's not a real title because they didn't play and beat team X which had the better record" garbage".  That's the kind of chatter following the Lakers title last year--->they didn't face either of the top 2 teams from the East, C's due to health and Cavs because they collapsed.

I'd always want to play and beat the best team from the West for the title.  Personally, I felt cheated in '81 and '86 when we beat Houston instead of the Lakers.  The championships were great don't get me wrong but they weren't as fulfilling.

That sounds like a great strategy on paper, unless the Celtics actually lose.
I would much rather have a sure shot at getting the title, no matter what people say about my team.  If the Lakers and Spurs get injured, then too bad, that's not our fault.  We'll still beat the 'best' team in the league.
The question wasn't who would you want to beat, it's who would you want to see.  The obvious answer is, whichever team we have the best chance winning against.  I'm sure any Celtic would agree.

I want to see Kobe puppet vs LeBRON puppet again.  That worked out so well for the NBA last year.  ;)

The Lakers are the best team in the West. They're the team I'd like to see in the Finals.

For me it was a toss-up between Denver and San Antonio, both within a days drive from where I live. I picked Denver because it is cooler up there in June and you got the Rocky Mtns right there.
Wins are few, times are hard. Here is your bleeping St Patricks Day Card.
