Somehow I don't think KG would ever get the phone handed over to AI by his posse member, unless he was planning to give AI $5 million himself.

Thank god for that, at this point in AI's career.

He's just not a guy that can admit father time has run him down and change his game and mindset to not being the alpha option on whatever team he joins.

Love AI when he was the answer. Do not want the new AI from the last 3 years that won't admit he's lost his explosiveness and should be a 2nd or third option, or an awesome 6th man destroying other teams benches for a championship contender.

But, unfortunately, AI is not that kind of player, and thus he will finish out the string as the top dog on a bad team looking to sell tickets.

He's maybe the only player I've ever seen who prided himself out of the league in the same way that NFL players sometimes eat their way out.
