who would be backing up Perkins if postseason moves are over?

  i dont Rasheed is a good idea because he can play on the perimeter and that's where he's at his best. i would rather see Sheed play PF meaning backing up Garnett. BBD would struggle guarding centers like Shaq or Howard. We need a center who can play good Defense just if Perkins gets hurt or anything. Can Shelden do it?

KG on the High post.  Sheed on the low post.  Anyone who says Sheed doesn't play down there is a stats fiend and doesn't use their eyes.

Not true man. When Ben Wallace left, the following season Sheed lost weight and toned up to play C. He did well, and he actually excels more in the post. His problem is he's a typical big with range; once they learn the 3 ball, they start relying on it too much. He's a very strong post player and long armed, smart defender. He'll backup Perk and BBD backup KG, and Sheldon will play garbage minutes with Scal.

Agreed that Sheed can hit the 3, but the post is his A game. Plus on offense, he can step out to the corners, bringing Shaq/Howard out of the paint so Rondo and Ray can drive in for easier layups.

No need for ouch, Sheed brings a ton to the table. I think that gap between Sheed's and Perk's defense is lower than the gap in their offense, particularly how how they'll affect the unit.

Anyways, see no reason to exclude him in the poll.

I agree to have Sheed the majority C, specially in crunch time, but Perk is the starter. We'll need Sheed to come in for offense/defense when the Big 3 sit down. Otherwise you're talking about a bench of House,Daniels,Tony,BBD,Perk...egh

I actually think KG and Sheed is a terrible combo, especially to start the game. Neither of them prefers to play in the post and Perk is a capable post player whose game fits nicely next to both of them.
