Powe was a gamble. Ray Allen was a bigger gamble, because KG was not a sure thing. DA jumps in and takes a chance, when the rest of the GM's play it safe.
If you blame DA for not being perfect, then you are saying he cannot, and should not gamble. His gambling got us to where we are. And I really hope he continues to play the game. Although the stress of gambling in front of the Boston crowd takes its toll. Not sure how long he will continue with it. And that will be the day things start to decline.
