It depends on a lot of things. But generally, if the game is tied/we are down 1/we are down 2 - we give the ball to Pierce and he either takes the shot or creates a good shot for somebody else (Ray/KG/Sheed/House).

If we are down 3, the ball is in Rondo's hands and we have Ray coming of multiple picks and hope he gets open for a 3. If not, then hopefully Rondo can find Pierce/House/Sheed for a good look at the 3.

Of course it depends who is hot that games, who is open, who has a more advantageous matchup, etc.

Bucket to say, stop a run or preserve a lead: Paul Pierce
Last second game-winner/tying basket: Ray Allen


It of course depends on who is hot that game, who's open, etc., but as default options, I agree with FWF.

Same here. I would add Eddie House as the 3rd option in either of these situations.
