I've been listening to this record for the better part of 6 years.
Still gives me the same chills I got when I first listened to it years ago.

Even though this is by no stretch of the imagination the best Dead song, this song has always had a special place in my heart.  It was the first song of theirs I heard, and what turned me on to them as a young child.  I can still remember hearing it on the radio.  I was actually even lucky enough to see the Dead before Garcia died.  I must have been no more than 13 years old, and to this day can't believe my parents ever let my older cousin bring me along, but will always cherish the memories.


Pay special attention to the jacket the drummer is wearing.
