99% chance nothing happens.  Unless a trade goes down, I will be surprised if he is signed before September.  There is no reason for anyone involved to push him to sign until every trade option has been exhausted.

out of curiosity, anyone know what the longest amount of time is for a player and team to agree on terms until they actually become a member of the team?

Why Friday? Not soon enough. Danny Ainge is too busy on vacation thinking of other ways to let go of loyal Cetlic players.

Wouldn't keep Posey who deserved a raise and wanted a little more financial security
Wouldn't offer Powe a dime even after Powe filling KGs shoes during his ab injury our winning-est season
Wouldn't offer Marbury another grand above the min to make him feel special

Expect Ainge to sit around waiting for players wanting to play for free show up at his door steps while other valuable players are being traded away for 2 round draft picks and lint and free agents are signing elsewhere for seasons tickets.
Can't stop, Rondo!

I'ld like to know what the odds are that the Celtics add someone else to the roster before they add Daniels. My guess is it's pretty good.

hoping they package tony allen, scal, and giddens for a decent backup pg.  the free agent pg's dont do anything for me.

I believe the c's want to have daniels for a longtime. The LLE would not allow that to happen. Aing is still trying to figure out a way to get daniels in a s&t. That takes time! With the LLE i believe he wants to use for another vet. whether be a Pg, sf, sg. TA isn't staying, neither is Giddens. Scal most likely won't be dealt. Its up in the air with Walker.

I'll say Giddens and TA would be packaged but sent in separate locations involving a 3 to 4 team deal in order to lure Daniels over. ;)

Well Danny & Doc aside I'd like Daniels on the team asap to get set rotations.  I'm sure its a tricky situation as far as a gm goes and somehow giddens/ta need to be part of the deal.
